Y'know?
Even if the Marathon was not being run in New York City this weekend, we couldn't make it a "hill" day on Saturday anyway.

The weather's gonna be a little bit on the south side of 60 degrees, but they're also running a "qualifying race" for the 2008 US Olympic Marathon Team on Saturday.
So... unless you show up on Sunday evening at The Central Park Boathouse for the Tug McGraw gig, I guess the next time I see you guys with a guitar on my shoulder will be at "The Year-End Concert" on Monday Night, December 17th. (More about that in a minute.)
So, what is this Tug McGraw gig?
I'm gonna be the musical guest at the victory party for team McGraw.... the good, good people who are running in the marathon for The Tug McGraw Foundation to raise money for the fight against brain cancer.
It would mean lot to me to see you there! "The People on the Hill"... represented at such a cool and worthy event. Besides, on their website... THEY CALLED ME A DAMNED ICON!!!

(They don't know me very well!)
Now... the tickets are $150 and I know that's a lot of money for most of us. But, it is tax deductible and it's only once a year. So, y'know... if you can swing it, why don't you click on this link and let 'em know you're gonna be there with me.

These wonderful people are running the marathon to raise money for the fight against brain cancer, and they work an awful lot with kids who are having a rough time of it.

Okay NOW!!!
The "Year-End Concert"!!!
I was talkin' to my buddy Roger Bartlett (Dodger) yesterday. He's all psyched for the "Year-End" gig on December 17th. (I think half of his excitement is just sharing a stage with Cassie Kubinski. She can sing and she's a fine, fine songwriter. But let's face it.... she's hot.)

The incredible George Wurzbach is gonna be a part of this whole thing, too. (And, man... he's reeeeealllly hot!!) And, I just might have another surprise for you guys... a new female vocalist to help me out with one of your favorite songs from a few years back. Keep checking back.
We're gonna have a blast. The tickets for this thing went on sale last week. You can get YOURSright now by clicking on this poster and getting them online.

SHOW 338
Musical guests on today's ILTC: An artist I've shared stages with quite a bit who was requested by a regular listener - Karlus Trapp and a Podsafe artist requested by another listener in Utah - Dan Sensit. (Click on their photos to visit their websites, find out more about them, where they're playing, and how to get their music.)

In Europe:

You can use these phone numbers... just to say "Hey" if you feel like it. Or, use them to leave a comment for either if these two podcasts! Here's the newest edition of "Where's the Voice". Last week, we looked at the bullshit view of the religious right-wing that America is somehow a Christian or Judeo-Christian nation. (A view fueled by incredible ignorance.) This week, I'm just gonna address basic American principle, the difference between right and wrong, and the concept of a moral-absolute. (Should be fun!)
Okay, okay... call it a "rant" if you want. But, the show is called "Where's the VOICE"!
