Well, summer's gone.

But, it's time to welcome what I call the "When-Harry-Met-Sally-It's-A-Wonderful-Life" time of year. I guess you guys who've been following the podcasts for a while know that for a few years the woman who became known to all of you as "The Lovely Lisa" was a Radio City Music Hall Rockette. Well, last night I got a call from Lee asking me if I wanted to go with her to sit in on th dress rehearsal for this year's Christmas Spectacular. (Y'know? I'm in the business. I've been on quite a few stages in my time. And, I gotta say... they used exactly the right word when they named that show a SPECTACULAR!)

It's just an enormous production and it really is magical. (Man! I love this town!)

Anyway.... I'll be talking about it on the next installment of the podcast "I Love the Company" A lot of people reading this right now all over the country and around the world have seen the show at Radio City Music Hall. And, most of you have seen me in concert or at "The Hill" in Central Park. But, how many of you know that there is a connection!

It was because of a guest appearance I made at Radio City with the Rockettes... back when I was still drinking... that turned a choreography-fiasco into one of the post beloved traditions in the show all these years later. (Here's a rare photo of that night.)

Life is funny that way.

Anyway, if you're gonna be in or around New York City on Monday Night, December 17th I hope you're gonna get your tickets to "The Year-End Concert" this year. Get a jump on a bunch of people by getting your tickets to "The Year-End Concert" now. (I'm gonna send out a huge email blast next weekend. So, call or go online and get your tickets this week, okay? Click on this poster and get them online at The JCC Theater website.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
