FIRST UP!!!

Oh, Mets fans!!! I'm so sorry! Seriously. That sucks!

Holy s@#!

(Um... go Yankees.)

Okay, new week. New month. There's a brand new episode of ILTC here today. And, the new installment of "Where's the Voice" is here right now as well! I really wanna hear from all of you, so pick up the phone and leave a message for me! (Further down the page)

But, right at the top I've gotta tell you. YES! Weather-permitting, I'll be out in Central Park again this coming Saturday.

Y'know when it starts to get late in the season, the leaves will begin to turn. This is usually the month that Central Park starts to become magic in a different way. The Sun sets behind The San Remo a lot faster, there's a little chill in the air in the late afternoon, and a mixed feeling of melancholy and enormous gratitude for another summer with you guys comes over me.

Yeah, it's time to put the shirt on when the Sun disappears. It's time for the crowd to start bringing blankets and sweaters. There's time for a few more afternoons of music and laughs. And, y'never know... we might get a break like we have in the past and be out there for another month of summer-like weather.

But, just in case we're 2 or 3 rainy weekends from saying goodbye...

Thanks again.

At the same time, I start to get excited thinking about Fall and the annual "Year-End Concert" when we get together in December. I'll tell you a little more about that on the podcast today.

Okay, so here's the brand new installment of "I Love the Company". I've got some great tracks to play for you. Got some stuff to tell you about this past weekend. Some stuff to share with you about the upcoming season. And, I'm gonna play a few of your phone calls.

Just click on the logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.(You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
