Sorry I missed you guys in Central Park this past weekend. That was a definite rainout on Saturday. (I actually like it better when there's NO doubt. I mean.... THAT was a rainout!) But, we had a great season this year, didn't we?

Listen... I'm hoping that the podcasts become an extension of what I do in person in Central Park. That's one of the really, really cool things the technology of the internet has to offer. We're all still connected in very real ways.

I've got a brand new episode of both podcasts here today. "I Love the Company" ( a little further down the page.) and a new installment of the, more politically-minded and socially-conscious podcast "Where's the Voice".

And, we're not missin' a beat as far as LIVE music! The venues just change a little at this time of year. We'll be movin' the places we get to share music and laughs indoors for a while.

STARTING TONIGHT!

I was once again invited to sit in at The SGA Songwriter's Circle at The Red Lion on Bleecker Street in The Village.

IT'S FREE. The music cranks up from 7 - 9:00. (If you've never been to one of these, they're a lot of fun.) And, tonight you'll be able to pick up a copy of that CD I've been telling you about in previous updates.

The next gig I'm playing is a week from yesterday. This coming Sunday is NYC Marathon Sunday and I'll be playing at The Central Park Boathouse for a very special group of people... The TUG McGRAW FOUNDATION. Click on this link to find out all about it.

ALSO.... last week I announced that the tickets for our annual "Year-End Concert" just went on sale. So, click on this poster to get yours right now, or call the box office directly...

Okay, onto the podcasts. today let's start out with the newest edition of "Where's the voice". Last week, we looked at the bullshit view of the religious right-wing that America is somehow a Christian or Judeo-Christian nation. (A view fueled by incredible ignorance.) This week, I'm just gonna address basic American principle, the difference between right and wrong, and the concept of a moral-absolute. (Should be fun!)

Okay, okay... call it a "rant" if you want. But, the show is called "Where's the VOICE"!

Just click on the logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.(You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

Seriously, I hope you call a bunch of friends and get your tickets to the "Year-End Concert" very soon. Roger Bartlett, George Wurzbach and Casie Kubinski have already told me they're jazzed to share the stage with me and kick another year in the ass as it heads out the door. Hope you can join us.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
