Were you out in Central Park with me yesterday?

Okay, man! It was August-like! But, what a day!

If you were out there, I hafta say, from the bottom of my heart...

THANKS AGAIN!

I will be right back with some video. Maybe you'll see yourself here on the website this week. Keep checking back and bring friends. (The podcast is called "I Love the Company" for a reason.)

So, listen... if you're new here please check back every day this week. Besides the video, I'll be letting you guys in on a very, very special gig I'll be doing in the Central Park Boathouse on NYC Marathon Sunday.

Also, I'll have more information about the "Year-End Concert" in December.

Also... there will be a brand new episode of "I Love the Company" and a really kick-ass installment of "Where's the Voice" where we'll be kicking around the facts that make people like John McCain and the religious right in this country so, so very dangerous to the very concept upon which this nation was found. (Ha! Set to some great music!!!)

Before we get to the "Weekend Show" I gotta point you guys at this video that James Marino pointed me at.

Remember Thomas F. Wilson who played "Biff" in that great film BACK TO THE FUTURE?

Well he wrote himself a great song!

Okay now... here's "The Weekend Show" of the podcast "I Love the Company". Just click on the logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.(You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

THE YEAR-END CONCERT

I'm already starting to get excited thinking about the change of seasons in this town and the annual "Year-End Concert" when we get together in December. I'll tell you a little more about that on the podcast today. This year, it's at a new concert venue. (Merkin Concert Hall is being renovated) But, the date is already solid... Monday Night, December 17th. I'll let you know when the tickets are gonna go on sale.

End of the year, we just move it indoors.

Okay... here's the usual handful of FREE songs for you guys. Let me know what you think of 'em.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
