Okay... as promised, Part I of that video I shot the other day in Strawberry Fields is here on the site today. Now, I know there are people reading this in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. I'd like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for showing up in Central Park and here at the website.

And, I don't wanna make you homesick for New York City... even though you don't live here. But, DAMN! Livin' in this town is a kick!

Here, before anything else... this past Tuesday, October 9th would have been John Lennon's 67th birthday. My buddy, Sid Bernstein, called me and asked me to meet him in the park to hang out and celebrate all the great memories and music. This is one day I didn't strap my guitar on my back. I was happy to just show up and dig other musicians sharin' the Love in the park. (But, I brought a camera!)

I think this video is pretty self explanatory! (But, don't be afraid or embarrassed to smile until your face hurts or sing out loud!)

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
