Well, guys...

Don't know what the weather is like in your part of the world. But, here in New York City, it's a wet and rainy autumn day. So, that marks the end of the 16th summer I've been privileged to be called... "That Guitar Man from Central Park"

THANK YOU!

I also wanna thank the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation for being so cool this year; specifically Commissioner Adrian Benepe, Central Park Administrator Doug Blonsky, Ms. Claudia Pepe over in the Permit Office, and Nelson Nicholas of Operations. (And, I can't forget Andre, the young gun you all came to know and love who landscaped and cared for "The Hill" this season.) It was a fun summer, and thousands of people from all over the place became unofficial New Yorkers and official "People on the Hill". (If you live here in town, you might wanna do something cool... take 2 minutes and shoot those people an email of thanks as well.)

These people all do a remarkable job. Maybe over the winter we'll all get together and put a fund-raising concert on it's feet for The Conservancy. It's something I've always wanted to do.

Anyway, hey listen... I'm not going away. The "Year-End Concert" is coming up on Monday Night, December 17th. You can make sure you get your tickets right now by clicking on this poster.

Or... you can call the box office directly:

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
