Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!
Holy smokes! It's raining!
So I guess I wouldn't be able to play in Central Park like I usually do each weekend, anyway!!!

RIGHT NOW, YOU CAN LISTEN TO THE EXPLANATION of what was goin' down! (A little further down the page.) But, the Music Gods have now expressed their displeasure!!! (Or, their sense of humor.)
This is freakin' me out a little! Y'know, maybe it's just me... but it was my feeling that there was a genuinely silly bureaucratic reason why there wouldn't have been music at "The Hill" in Central Park today. The Parks Department does such a wonderful job in Central Park. But, this weekend we were denied the Special Events Permit we need to hang together. Honestly, this situation today was just a little bizarre, so totally fixable... and just ridiculous. But... IT'S RAINING ANYWAY!!!!
(My life is sooooo weird.... an wonderful!)
I'm being buried in email from people from all around the city and even people from out of town who are really disappointed. But, believe me... there's nothing I can do. This decision is coming from our Parks Department. So, I can't hang with you today. NO music.
It's irrelevant now, but... HERE'S THE OFFICIAL EXPLANANTION! It's a Special, Special, short edition of "I Love the Company" for you to listen to with some of the phone calls I've received about today and an audio explanation. Might clear up a lot of the questions you guys had!!! Might actually be kinda fun! (Click on this image to listen)

Still, the bottom line is... NO MUSIC in the park today.
Sorry.
But, whatever you wind up doing today, make it a good one, okay?
Back to the fun!!! I know there are people who are also reading this in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. For you guys... check out the 2 podcasts here this weekend.
