Okay, so... the weather last night sucked and it rained us out on Pier 45 for the Friday night "Sunset Concert Series".

But, the weather is perfect, perfect, perfect today! I can't WAIT to be hangin' out with all of you at "The Hill" in Central Park! Gonna be a great day!

For all of you who can't make it to New York City today! Or, even if you're in town and you happen to be new around here... it's time for The Weekend Show on the podcast "I Love the Company". It's episode #305.

On this weekend's show, I wanna do two things. I need to play the song that I set up on Thursday's show. (#304) And, then I hafta pay special tribute to this lovely character.

John Wallowitch

John was a one-of-a-kind songwriter and artist who I shared the stage with many times. He was a New York show business personality unlike any other I've ever met... a genuine original.

John left the building (for the last time) this week.

But, we're gonna have some fun on "The Weekend Show"... John included. (Click on this logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.)You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.

After you listen to the show... CALL ME!!!

There is ALSO a brand new episode of the more politically minded podcast called "Where's the Voice". This one oughta get you fired up one way or the other. Either way... I wanna hear from you. Voice your opinion. Be heard. Call the show if you have a topic or just wanna make a comment or offer an opinion about anything on this podcast. This installment... okay, not so funny. Really passionate this week. Hope you are, too. This is the place to sound off. This is the podcast to let it rip!

WTV-010

Musical guest on this week's show: Ronnie (Click on his photo to visit his website, find out more about him, where he's playing, and how to get his music.)

OKAY, NOW... call me!!!

Especially if you're new here, or if you're new here and reading this in a different part of the country or a different part of the world, pick up the phone and let me know where you're at! Here are the numbers:

Anywhere in North America:

646-224-8162

In Europe:

+44 845 280 6622

BTW... I'll be playing a whole bunch of your phone messages on the next episode of each podcast. So, get busy!

Now, this next thing is cool. (And, I really want you to use those numbers to let me know what you think of this little project.)

It's tentatively called "Lunch with Sid", and I ultimately want it to be a video series which will be interactive with all of you. You'll be able to call the show and ask questions and make comments... relate stories. It'll be very cool. It's basically just a series of very candid and sweet conversations with a one-of-a-kind, music-business legend.... the man who brought The Beatles to America and changed American music forever...

This video is just a warm-up for the real thing. Sid's excited about this and so are we here at "That Guitar Man". Use one of these phone numbers and let us know what you think, too.

Okay... see you in the park TODAY or I'll see you back here at the website tomorrow!

Thanks for showin' up!

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
