I'm not gonna be heading out to Central Park to share my songs and a few smiles with you guys today. The Permit Office at the NYC Parks Department wouldn't issue the special Events Permit for today. (Click on this link to check out a previous update for the explanation, okay?)

"The Hill" is gonna look a little different, I guess.

BUT... the adventure continues. I got a call from my friend and colleague Christine Lavin about a gig she's doing north of the city at a great venue called The Towne Crier Cafe tonight. What the hell! I'm gonna head north!

I have no idea what to expect. But if Chris is involved, it's gonna be a blast. (She's got a new CD out, by the way. And, it's great!)

Then THIS MONDAY NIGHT... is the last Monday of the month and that means I've been invited once again to sit in at the SGA Songwriter's Circle in The Village.
