Okay... NOW! For those of you over in Europe... you might wanna skip down a little bit. But, for you guys on this side of the ocean, y'know?

This has got to be the streakiest New York Yankees team I have ever seen in my life. Y'just never know who's gonna show up on any given day. The line-up either looks devastating and scary.... or, everybody's sleeping at the same time.

But, I was up at The Stadium yesterday... and I have a feeling that after a 3-game sweep here at home, the Red Sox have gotta be wondering if this is gonna be another one of those years.

(5 games is still a lot to make up in a month. And, Boston is a good team that looked really good against Chicago this week. But... we'll see.)

ANYWAY!!!

Here we go into another Labor Day Weekend. I'm gonna be out in Central Park tomorrow afternoon for, what I think, is gonna be a very special day for those of us who chose to stay in town on this 3-day weekend. If you're in or around New York City, try to come out and hang with me at "the Hill".

For all of you reading this in different parts of the country and the world, I'm right here at this website with the "Weekend Show" of the podcast, "I Love the Company". It's episode #315. I'm playin' some of your phone calls, a few songs that we might take a run at this weekend, and a couple of tracks that were recommended by you... the listeners. Just click on this logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.(You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

Are you heading out of town. Or, are you one of those people like me that love, love, love it when this town empties out and a lot of us can just hang and relax in Central Park.

And, I'm thinking about making this another special day on top of the typically amazing stuff that goes on out there. Like I said, if you're in or around New York City tomorrow, try to make it out to Central Park.

See you soon.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
