Okay... first I hafta thank the people who showed up yesterday in Central Park lookin' for me. No... I couldn't do my usual gig out there.

I think it had something to do with the fact that it was 7-07-07 and a whole bunch of people requested permits to get married in the park yesterday. (I'll tell you, if your marriage is gonna depend on a lucky day.... um... oh well.)

Listen, if you're new around here and you don't live in or around New York City, thanks for showin' up here at the website, too. Hit the "Archive" button and see what's what.

But, here in NYC... TODAY is the day I'll see you guys INDOORS in a brand new, air-conditioned theater to celebrate the release of the new CD... "I Love the Company".

Oh... JUST HEAD OVER THERE and join us!

It's gonna be cool! It's gonna be about a million degrees out there today. So, just head over to the corner of 76th Street and Amsterdam Avenue at 3 o'clock. We'll be in the theater inside the JCC.

ROGER BARTLETT (My good buddy and the original guitar player for Jimmy Buffet's Coral Reefer Band) is gonna sit in today. He's playing on the new album, too. In fact this project never would have gotten done without Dodger. This is gonna be a good way for us to welcome another collection of songs into the world, and to wrap up a long holiday week.

And, we'll have the new album there so you can take one.... or a dozen home with you!!!

Lookin' for a new episode of the podcast, ILTC? Here it is, and I have The Lovely Lisa in the studio to talk a little more about the concert on Sunday. Just click on this logo, plug in your headphones or turn on your speakers and listen. (Show #278)

(You can always subscribe to the show and get it
automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

THEN... listen to the latest installment of the more politically-fueled and socially-conscious podcast, "Where's the Voice".

WHERE'S THE VOICE - 005

ALSO... check out the most recent show on "THE AWESOME PODCAST". It's the third episode, with your hosts, The Lovely Lisa and James Marino.

CLICK ON THE PHOTO TO LISTEN!!!

THEN... I really want you to use one of those phone numbers to call the show and be heard! Make a comment about "I Love the Company" or "Where's the Voice" or "The AWESOME Podcast". Leave a message, an opinion, a comment, make a request. You can even call just to say "Hey".

Here are the phone numbers you can call...

Anywhere in North America:

In Europe:

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
