Yeah... I'm re-committing to doing a new podcast every day, Monday through Friday. And so, there is a new episode of "I Love the Company" here at the website today.

It's kinda cool. I sometimes talk about the internet, this website, and the podcast as an extension of what I've been doing in Central Park for the past 16 years.

So on the last ILTC (281) I wondered of you guys would like to phone in requests once in a while to do something kinda LIVE. That's one of the things I'll kick around on today's show.

Just click on this logo, plug in your headphones or turn on your speakers and listen. It's episode #282.

(You can always subscribe to the show and get it
automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

Musical guests on this show: Wes Burdine and Sophia Ramos (Click on their photos to visit their websites, find out more about them, where they're playing, and how to get their music.)

.

And, make sure you check back here tomorrow for episode 283. I'm gonna ask Roger Bartlett to come into the studio with his ax to jam a little. (Dodger was Jimmy Buffet's original lead guitarist in the Coral Reefer Band. I'm sure he'll have a few stories.)

Are you new here? Are you here because you were out in Central Park on Saturday?

If you are, hit the "Contact" button over there and gimme a shout. Let me know how you found out about the whole "Guitar Man from Central Park" thing. And, be sure to stop back for a new update each day and a new episode of "I Love the Company" every day this week. (It's the original podcast here at this site.)

Here are the phone numbers to call if you wanna leave a message, or just to let me know where in the world you're checking from, or just to say "Hey".

Anywhere in North America:

646-224-8162

In Europe:

+44 845 280 6622

ALSO... this coming week I'm gonna do a new installment of the podcast, "Where's the Voice". (It's the more politically-fueled and socially-conscious podcast.) If you feel like it, check out the most recent episode.

WHERE'S THE VOICE - 005

Anyway, listen... thanks again for showin' up around here. Get a few friends to check out this website, too. And then, talk about it.... talk about the podcasts and call the show. I'll play your comments and messages right on the show.

Welcome to all of you in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. I really do love the company.

See you tomorrow.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
