Okay! The "Weekend Show" is here in "I Love the Company". And, if you've been reading this website recently, you know that I won't be doing the usual gig in Central Park today.

But... I WILL BE HANGIN' OUT AT "THE HILL", anyway.

I decided I'm goin' to Central Park today to hang out in the regular spot from around 1:00. I asked Dodger (Roger Bartlett) if he felt like showing up with his axe, too. I mean, we hafta kick around some songs for the CD release concert tomorrow at The JCC Theater.... just, y'know, run a couple of things together. I thought we might as well do it acoustically and unplugged in one of the prettiest spots in Manhattan. Besides... I'll bring a handful of tickets for the show tomorrow. I'd love it if every single one of you could show up on Sunday. I'm excited about this new CD.

If you wanna get a ticket to the concert early... like... today. Just show up at "The Hill".

What concert?

You ask, "What concert?"

Oh... WE'RE ALL GETTIN' TOGETHER AT THE JCC THEATER on the corner of 76th and Amsterdam Ave. at 3:00 in the afternoon to celebrate the arrival of the first new album in 2 summers.

Now, tomorrow is supposed to be one of those oppressively hot summer days in NYC. So, why don't plan on hangin' out with us.

Here's the lowdown.

Beautiful 200 seat theater... and to pay for it, I'm gonna ask everyone to chip in $10.

Just show up... or you can tickets right here, right now.

You can show up a little bit early on Sunday. There will be someone at the theater selling tickets. Or, you can click on the image above and get tickets now. Then, all you hafta do is show up the day of the concert and give us your name.

Y'know? You can also get tickets by clicking on that PayPal button over there on the right!

OR... like I said, I'll head out to "The Hill" this afternoon where I usually play and have a bunch of tickets with me for you to buy directly!

As it turns out, ROGER BARTLETT (My good buddy and the original guitar player for Jimmy Buffet's Coral Reefer Band) is gonna sit in on Sunday. He's playing on the new album. This is gonna be a good way for us to welcome another collection of songs into the world, and to wrap up a long holiday week.

And, we'll have the new album there so you can take one.... or a dozen home with you!!!

Lookin' for a new episode of the podcast, ILTC? Here it is, and I have The Lovely Lisa in the studio to talk a little more about the concert on Sunday. Just click on this logo, plug in your headphones or turn on your speakers and listen. (Show #278)

(You can always subscribe to the show and get it
automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

THEN... listen to the latest installment of the more politically-fueled and socially-conscious podcast, "Where's the Voice".

ALSO... check out the most recent show on "THE AWESOME PODCAST". It's the third episode, with your hosts, The Lovely Lisa and James Marino.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
