Hey... I know there are people reading this all over the country and in different parts of the world. But, if you live here in New York City and you're planning to head downtown tonight to The Village for the "Sunset Concert Series" at 7:00 on Pier 45 in Hudson River Park...

The weather is lookin' a little shaky right now. But, I'm gonna head down there anyway and see if we can squeeze in a concert before the thunderstorms move in. Right now, I'm gonna say... the music is a "Go".
.
For tomorrow in Central Park?
.

Um... I'm really sorry guys. Now, you guys know how highly I speak of the NYC Parks Department, Central Park and New York City. (Some people have even gone as far as to call me an "ambassador" for the park!) The Central Park Administration does a great, great job. But this week, I couldn't get our Special Events Permit for sharing music at "The Hill" like I applied for. Seriously, this is the first summer since 2000 when Administrator Doug Blonsky (He's a good guy.) and I worked things out that the Permit Office is denying permits because of events that might be happening out in The Ladies Pavilion behind us on Hernshead.
So, the Permit Office is not giving us a permit for tomorrow's application I submitted. (I don't know. After 16 years.... y'hafta ask them. I put those applications in at the beginning of the year.)
So... yeah, I know the weather is gonna be a little shaky all weekend. But, regardless... I'm not gonna be able to share music with you at "The Hill".
Oh well.... maybe it'll be raining anyway.
In the meantime, keep it cool. I'm gonna try to give you guys a great "Weekend Show" here at the website on the podcast "I Love the Company". For right now, click on this logo to listen to the most recent installment of ILTC. (Show #289) Click on this logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.)

automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)
Musical guest on today's show: A regular on the show, a really talented cutie, and a fine songwriter Cassie Kubinski. (Click on her photo to visit her website, find out more about her, where she's playing, and how to get her music.)

Okay!
Here's that video I promised you. (In fact there've been new videos from Central Park up here all week. Go back in the "Archives" and check 'em out.)
But, right now click on this image and watch "Hellos & Kudos"!

Today you can also check out the most recent edition of the more politically-minded and socially-spirited show... "Where's the Voice". I've got a couple of great tracks from independent artists out of Philadelphia and California. And, I'm playing a brand new verse in the song "Tom Cruise Scares Me" LIVE - dedicated to the Democrats in Congress... that bunch of disgraceful Caspar Milquetoasts!
Go ahead. Click on this logo.
