Y'know?

I've been writing songs and playing them for people here in New York City for 16 years now.

Holy smokes! 16 years in Central Park! I'm a lucky, lucky man.

But like everyone else I guess, a life gets so busy every now and then that it feels like things spin just a little out of control. I finally updated the podcast "I Love the Company" today. But, before anything else... I wanna let you downtown people know that I'm beginning the 4th year of the "Sunset Concert Series" in Hudson River Park.

This Friday is the first Sunset Concert. 7:00 on Pier 45 in the Village. (At the end of Christopher Street)

More about that later this week.

Sorry. The whole day got a way from me yesterday.

But, here is a new episode of ILTC. (Show #266)

On today's show, I'm just play a new track I heard by a female artist who I've played on this show before. And I'm gonna give you another little sneak preview of a few of the tracks that will be on the new CD of the same name as the podcast.... "I Love the Company" (Click on this logo to listen to today's show right now.)

(You can always subscribe to the show and get it
automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

Musical guest on this show: Jodi Shaw.

Hey! If you were out in Central Park last weekend, thanks so much for another great day. If you're new around here, go back through The Archives and catch up with what's been goin' on around here.

I love it when you're all a part of the show.... every show. So, call for any reason. Leave a message or a comment, or raise a subject you like to talk about, or make a musical request.... or just say "Hey".

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
