Okay! I know there are people reading this in different parts of the country and around the world. But, if you are here in New York City... did you get the word yesterday?

I WON'T be hangin' out with you guys in Central Park this weekend.

The woman at the Parks Department who is in charge of the Special Events Permits we need, Claudia Pepe, said that because there is an AIDS Walk this weekend there will be too many people making noise in Central Park.

Bummer.

But, maybe here's a little last-minute good news.

Do you remember this guy from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart?

Bob Wiltfong

Well, he's got a new thing goin' on at The People's Improv Theater down on West 29th Street. It's called "Talk Show"... and at the very last minute, my buddy Brent Burnett told me they needed a musical guest.

Why not!

If you're not doin' anything, head down there. I think it's only $5.

8:00 pm tonight

BUT, RIGHT NOW... click on this logo to listen to the newest installment of "I Love the Company". (Show #257)

(You can always subscribe to the show and get it
automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

I've got The Lovely Lisa back in the studio and today we're gonna talk with the man who brought The Beatles to America... music business legend, Sid Bernstein.

Really bummed about not being able to play in the park this weekend. Maybe I'd better think about doing something else, other than relying on being "That Guitar Man from Central Park".

Hmmmm... or maybe we can shoot some video and drop more of you guys into the video we shot last weekend. The video that is up on YouTube about everyone's role model... Paris Hilton.

By the way... IF YOU WERE AT "THE HILL" IN CENTRAL PARK LAST WEEKEND, YOU MIGHT BE IN THE VIDEO ALREADY!!!

Click on this image to check it out.

Then, share it with all your friends. Comment on it. Let us know how you feel about it. You can even call one of these numbers to leave a voice comment I'll play right on the show. Call one of these phone numbers and we'll talk about it on "I Love the Company" this coming week!

SPECIAL THANKS TO EVERY GREAT NEW YORKER WHO JUMPED IN ON THIS SONG! You all know who you are!!! (Lisa says "Thanks", too!)

Seriously... everybody, whether you're in the video or not, leave a message and I'll play it on "I Love the Company"!

Here are a few other little videos we've had some fun with.

BILL O'REILLY: THE LEGEND OF THE BIG GIANT HEAD

JESUSLAND

I'd love it if you "comment" on them too. I ALWAYS love it when you call and leave messages and comments for me here at the show!

Okay, gotta get goin' again.

Maybe I'll see you downtown tonight at "Talk Show".

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
