Okay...

"The Weekend Show" is here on "I Love the Company".

I've got The Lovely Lisa, everyone's favorite guest, in the studio with me again for this show. (#249) Click on this logo to listen right now or download it to check it out whenever you want. (In fact, you can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

Musical guests on today's show: American Heartbreak and Deirdre Flint. (Click on their photo to visit their website, find out more about them, where they're playing, and how to get their music.)

.

If you're jonesin' to get back out to the park.... or, if you just wanna hear some really amazing and innovative songwriters (FOR FREE)... I'm gonna be sitting in at one of those little New York Secrets I'm always talkin' about.

The SGA Songwriters Circle. If you've never been to one of these, make plans to stop by this coming Monday Night. Like I said, it's free. The artists take the stage at The Red Lion in The Village at 7:00 and go around the circle until 9:00. Very cool. We very often laugh as much as we sing. (I'll tell you more about that over the weekend.)

HEY!!!

This is for the new people or anyone who hasn't headed over to YouTube to check out the new song and the new video for an older tune.

Now, I've been telling you all that the new tune... "Bill O'Reilly: The Legend of the Big Giant Head" is on YouTube right now. (Go take a look and let me know what you think!)

CLICK ON THIS LOGO TO CHECK OUT THE VIDEO FOR...

Here are the phone numbers for you guys to call and leave a message for me, or a comment, or make a request, or express an opinion... or to give a shout to me or any of the artists you hear on the podcast.

Anywhere in North America:

In Europe:

But, I also gotta tell you today that there is a little flash video to the internet-hit... "JesusLand". (A song I wrote that is specifically about a specific brand of hypocrisy in America today.)

You can click on this logo and it'll take you right to the video. Then, hit the "Share this Video" button and send it to all your friends. Cool?

Very cool.

And, BE SURE TO VISIT OUR SISTER WEBSITE AT PODSHOW!!!

For now... if you're new around here, go back through the "Archives" and check out some other shows. All 248 are still here for you to download.

See you guys back here next time.

D'oh!!! And, oh yeah...

I wanna let you all know that the Central Park Permit Fund for '07 is continuing. (Could really use everybody's help with that effort. You can click on any of these links or the PayPal button over there on the right, under The Weather section.) It also helps keep the podcast going strong every weekday. Damn! It's turned into a full time job, keepin' it goin'!

I think I'll see you back here every day this week. Bring a few friends around. "I Love the Company"!

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
