Hey!
I reeeeallllly want you guys to go check out this thing on YouTube and email the link to your friends. This is a blast! Threw this damned thing together in a couple of hours that's based on my brand new song, "Bill O'Reilly: The Legend of the Big Giant Head".
Go to YouTube and in the search box, write his name and my name:
Bill O'Reilly David Ippolito
Ha! That'll take you to directly to the video!!! Then, let me know what you think about it.

Okay, I know there are people reading this all over the country and in different parts of the world. But, I guess one of the stories of the day is... the rain. (Of course, if you're watching the national news today, it's the ONLY story.) So, yeah... it's raining in New York City and on the East coast of the States.

Hopefully, these big storm fronts are blowing Spring our way so I can crank up another season of music and laughs in Central Park right on time.

We start again on May 5th
I've gotta head out to Long Island today to play one of my songs, "I Can't Wait" , as a first dance at a wedding of two "People on the Hill". Wish the weather was better for these kids, but it'll be a great day anyway.
Okay... I'll be back tomorrow with a new installment of "I Love the Company". The show tomorrow will feature a whole bunch of YOUR phone comments about the video up on You Tube. (So, after you check it out, gimme a call and leave a comment!) In the meantime, the latest installment of "I Love the Company" (The Weekend Show) is here today. I asked James Marino and The Lovely Lisa to come back and finish talking about some of the things we drifted off into on the last show.
I asked Marino to explain where all this podcasting is going, technically and focus-wise. We're definitely gonna split the podcast in two.... one show will remain all about making music and the Creative process, people who make music and people like you who love music. And, the other will be a more focussed version of the popular "Weekly Wake-Up Call". How it's all gonna look exactly is still up in the air.
But here... you can click on this logo to listen to ILTC # 240 right now or download it to check it out whenever you want. (In fact, you can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

Very cool musical guests on the show today, a group out of San Francisco: (Click on their photo to visit their website, find out more about them, where they're playing, and how to get their music.)

Okay, gotta get rollin'.
Um... seriously. About the O'Reilly song, and the YouTube thing, and the new podcast ideas. Let me know what you think of the new song, and the video, and the ideas we're talkin' about on "I Love the Company". Here are the phone numbers for you guys to call the show and leave a message for me, or a comment, or make a request, or express an opinion... or to give a shout to me or any of the artists you hear on the podcast.
Anywhere in North America:
646-224-8162
In Europe:
+44 845 280 6622
Y'know, I've done this kinda thing with other songs like "Tom Cruise Scares Me".
And soon, I'm gonna be doing a separate podcast... looking for artists, especially the young guns, the youngbloods, who are writing and performing music that lyrically speaks to what's goin' on in the world today. That will most likely be a podcast called "Where's the Voice", after my song of the same name.
Keep checkin' back, okay?
Very cool.
For now... if you're new around here, go back through the "Archives" and check out some other shows. All 240 are still here for you to download.
See you guys back here next time.
D'oh!!! And, oh yeah...
I wanna let you all know that the Central Park Permit Fund for '07 is continuing. (Could really use everybody's help with that effort. You can click on any of these links or the PayPal button over there on the right, under The Weather section.) It also helps keep the podcast going strong every weekday. Damn! It's turned into a full time job, keepin' it goin'!
See you back here every day next week. Bring a few friends around. "I Love the Company"!
Thanks for everything.
