"Hey"!!!

From New York City!

Where the weather is so beautiful it's killin' me. Like I said yesterday, I hafta wait for the Special Events Permit before I can start this season of being "That Guitar Man from Central Park". (Well, I guess it's at least a good thing that we're a special event.)

The first permit is for Saturday, May 5th

In the meantime, I'm really having fun watching that little YouTube adventure take off. Two songs I've written are now flash videos. ("Bill O'Reilly: The Legend of the Big Giant Head" and "JesusLand") YOU CAN BE A PART OF IT. JUST SCROLL A LITTLE FURTHER DOWN THE PAGE. I'm havin' a blast watching the numbers of people who've checked it out and passed it on rise.

But, before that... go ahead and click on this logo to listen to the newest episode of "I Love the Company". (#245)

(In fact, you can always subscribe to the show
and get it automatically by hitting that
itunes button over there.)

Musical guests on today's show: The All Girl Summer Fun Band (Click on their photo to visit their website, find out more about them, where they're playing, and how to get their music.)

Also on the show today, I'm asking you guys to call in and tell me what you think of the new intro I'm kickin' around for the new spin-off podcast called "Where's the Voice". I did the first interview already... with singer/songwriter Eric Schwartz. We'll be launching the show very soon, Keep checking back, okay?

Now, I've been telling you all that the new tune... "Bill O'Reilly: The Legend of the Big Giant Head" is on YouTube right now. (Go take a look and let me know what you think!)

CLICK ON THIS LOGO TO CHECK OUT THE VIDEO FOR...

Here are the phone numbers for you guys to call and leave a message for me, or a comment, or make a request, or express an opinion... or to give a shout to me or any of the artists you hear on the podcast.

But, I also gotta tell you today that there is a little flash video to the internet-hit... "JesusLand". (A song I wrote that is specifically about a specific brand of hypocrisy in America today.)

You can click on this logo and it'll take you right to the video. Then, hit the "Share this Video" button and send it to all your friends. Cool?

Very cool.

For now... if you're new around here, go back through the "Archives" and check out some other shows. All 244 are still here for you to download.

See you guys back here next time.

D'oh!!! And, oh yeah...

I wanna let you all know that the Central Park Permit Fund for '07 is continuing. (Could really use everybody's help with that effort. You can click on any of these links or the PayPal button over there on the right, under The Weather section.) It also helps keep the podcast going strong every weekday. Damn! It's turned into a full time job, keepin' it goin'!

I think I'll see you back here every day this week. Bring a few friends around. "I Love the Company"!

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
