Doesn't really feel like it here in New York City. I mean, it's drizzly and cold. But, believe it or not, we're just weeks from getting started out in Central Park again.

We start again on May 5th
Very cool.
Got a new episode of "I Love the Company" for you guys to listen to today. Gonna play a few love songs and a couple of cool tracks and then get the hell outta Dodge. (Actually, I gotta run downtown and met Dodger to do a corporate gig this evening. Love makin' music with that man.)
But, here... click on this logo to listen to ILTC #242 right now or download it to check it out whenever you want. (In fact, you can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

Musical guests on today's show: Uncle Seth and Black Lab. (Click on the photos to visit their websites, find out more about their music, where their playing, and how to get their music.)
.
Okay, now the continuing saga about the new song that I wrote called "Bill O'Reilly: The Legend of the Big Giant Head".
I'd really love it if you guys shot it around the internet like you did with "Tom Cruise Scares Me" a while back. (There's a new verse in that song, by the way... about Donald Trump.) I reeeeallllly want you guys to go check out the video for the O'Reilly song on YouTube and email the link to your friends.
Go to YouTube and in the search box, write Bill O'Reilly's name and my name:
Bill O'Reilly David Ippolito
Ha! That'll take you to directly to the video!!! Then, let me know what you think about it.

Actually...
... I think it'd be a blast if Keith Olbermann of Countdown ever got wind of it! But seriously, pick up the phone and leave a comment after you check it out and after you listen to today's podcast.
Here are the phone numbers for you guys to call and leave a message for me, or a comment, or make a request, or express an opinion... or to give a shout to me or any of the artists you hear on the podcast.
Anywhere in North America:
646-224-8162
In Europe:
+44 845 280 6622
And soon, I'm gonna be doing a separate podcast... looking for artists, especially the young guns, the youngbloods, who are writing and performing music that lyrically speaks to what's goin' on in the world today. That will most likely be a podcast called "Where's the Voice", after my song of the same name.
Keep checkin' back, okay?
Very cool.
For now... if you're new around here, go back through the "Archives" and check out some other shows. All 242 are still here for you to download.
See you guys back here next time.
D'oh!!! And, oh yeah...
I wanna let you all know that the Central Park Permit Fund for '07 is continuing. (Could really use everybody's help with that effort. You can click on any of these links or the PayPal button over there on the right, under The Weather section.) It also helps keep the podcast going strong every weekday. Damn! It's turned into a full time job, keepin' it goin'!
I think I'll see you back here every day this week. Bring a few friends around. "I Love the Company"!
Thanks again.
