Yeah, man... SPRING IN NEW YORK CITY!!!

Can't wait. Unfortunately I'm not able to join you guys out in the park quite yet, gotta wait for those nasty, legal permits. But like I said yesterday, I'll be starting in the park again... SOON!

We start again on May 5th

Can't wait.

I also wanna invite you all to participate in the great YouTube endeavor of Spring '07. (Oh, I have NO idea what I'm talkin' about.) Just scroll down and check out those videos and leave comments and stuff.) And, also read about the upcoming new podcast called "Where's the Voice".

Okay... before that, in the meantime, we've still got the podcast "I Love the Company". So, here it is. I asked The Lovely Lisa to join me in the studio today. We just kick around some of the things that are goin' on around the country and around the world today. We also talk a little bit about... um... whatever the hell we wanna talk about. (But, YOU are always invited to join the conversation. Grab the phone numbers a little further down the page and give us a shout.)

Right now...

I Love the Company - #244

Go ahead. Click on this logo to listen to ILTC #244 or download it to check it out whenever you want. (In fact, you can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

Musical guests on today's show: Ocean Street, The Stone Coyotes, and Mr. Zeeche

. .

Y'know, this year n Central Park I'm gonna be playing a whole bunch of new songs that I've written over the winter, and a whole bunch of new cover tunes I've picked up... some classic rock, some great love songs. It's gonna be a great season.

But, I'll never be able to completely let go of the socially conscious and political stuff, so I'll be keeping that separate on an all-new podcast called "Where's the Voice". (Coming soon.)

More about that in a minute.

OKAY!!! In that regard...

Now, I've been telling you all that the new tune... "Bill O'Reilly: The Legend of the Big Giant Head" is on YouTube right now. (Go take a look and let me know what you think!)

But, I also gotta tell you today that there is a little flash video to the internet-hit... "JesusLand". (A song I wrote that is specifically about a specific brand of hypocrisy in America today.)

You can click on this logo and it'll take you right to the video. Then, hit the "Share this Video" button and send it to all your friends. Cool?

AND, CLICK ON THIS LOGO TO CHECK OUT THE VIDEO FOR...

Here are the phone numbers for you guys to call and leave a message for me, or a comment, or make a request, or express an opinion... or to give a shout to me or any of the artists you hear on the podcast.

Anywhere in North America:

646-224-8162

In Europe:

+44 845 280 6622

And soon, I'm gonna be doing a separate podcast... looking for artists, especially the young guns, the youngbloods, who are writing and performing music that lyrically speaks to what's goin' on in the world today. That will most likely be a podcast called "Where's the Voice", after my song of the same name.

Keep checkin' back, okay?

Very cool.

For now... if you're new around here, go back through the "Archives" and check out some other shows. All 244 are still here for you to download.

See you guys back here next time.

D'oh!!! And, oh yeah...

I wanna let you all know that the Central Park Permit Fund for '07 is continuing. (Could really use everybody's help with that effort. You can click on any of these links or the PayPal button over there on the right, under The Weather section.) It also helps keep the podcast going strong every weekday. Damn! It's turned into a full time job, keepin' it goin'!

I think I'll see you back here every day this week. Bring a few friends around. "I Love the Company"!

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
