Y'know, I'm really busy with the details of life in New York City today.
Couple things goin' on that'll have me all over town. First... I'm moving the studio again. Then, I'm gonna head downtown to check out a DVD Dodger is workin' on to get us out there doing more corporate gigs. (Gotta make a living!) THEN... I'm heading over to Ronald McDonald House to do a little concert for a group of young professionals who wanna the right thing by the house. (I'll always do my part when it comes to that place.)
So, let me just update the page today by telling you.... you hafta check out this video if you never have! No matter what's going on in my life, this video never fails... never fails to make me laugh. (Sure you're hot & cold... but thank you SNL.)
Then click on this link to hear what Al Gore did with the same song when he was producing it!
THEN.... um... okay here's yesterday's update again in case you missed it. (Then, if you're new around here, go back through the "Archives" and listen to whatever you want.)

Welcome to the website today. "The Weekend Show" is up on "I Love the Company". (I'm gonna try my best to keep the shows coming every day, Monday through Friday, even in this period of transition.)
Things will settle down in my life very soon, and I'll really get back down to the serious business of writing, and laughing, and singing and hangin' out with a few hundred thousand beautiful people in Central Park.

in the meantime, I get to hang out with all of you all over the country and around the world. Just click on this logo to listen to today's installment of "ILTC".

The special musical guest on today's show is a regular around here: George Wurzbach. (Click on his photo to visit his website, find out more about him, where he's playing, and how to get his music.)

HEY! Last night, me and my good, good friend Sid Bernstein and the Lovely Lisa...

...went down to Union Square to meet with Senator Bill Bradley. (A man I have always admired and would love to see run for president again.) Senator Bradley's got a new book out and I'm gonna see if he'd say a few words about it on the podcast soon.

I'll tell you all about it on a show next week.
Cool?
Anyway, listen to today's show and, of you're new around here, go back through the "Archives" and check out some other shows. All 230 are still here for you to download.
Oh, yeah... hope you're all following yet another assault on the basic principles this country was founded on! (I hafta get back to writing songs about this stuff.)
They can be funny, y'know?
Yeah, I got out my pen and pencil and came up with this a while back... inspired by Alberto Gonzales' shameful support of George Bush.
Seems the Attorney General that George W. Bush appointed mistakenly feels his loyalty lies with the man who gave him a job and not with his real boss.... The American People. Instead, from the top down they all seem to feel that the executive branch of our government can act with impunity, independent of oversight by both the Judiciary and the Legislative branches... basically, spitting in the eye of the founding fathers who developed this basic system of checks and balances to protect all Americans from exactly this kind of thing.

Anyway... I think this little piece of artwork needs no caption.
