Well, it's snowing in New York City today. Sure, it's been frreeeeeeezing!!! But, damn! The snow? It really is pretty. Does something to me.

Still... I promise spring will get here. (It always has, anyway.) And, we'll head back out to the park to hang and sing together.

In the meantime, I'm gonna play a gig over on the east side in a great music club called Sessions 73 next Wednesday night. There's no cover, no minimum. Just come and hang out and we'll get through the winter together. (More about that on tomorrow's update and podcast.)
But... TODAY'S episode of "I Love the Company" is the "Weekly Wake-Up Call". Click on this logo to listen to today's show. (#215) Just turn on your speakers, or plug in your headphones and click.

Special musical guests on today's show: Jay Mankita and Paul Hipp. (Click on their photo to visit their websites, find out more about their music, where they're playing, and how to get their music.)

Here's something I promised to start doing. (Giving you guys more than one link to an episode of ILTC each day.) Well, I've already been getting a lot of reaction to the show in which I talked a little bit about poetry in a song as opposed to a literal lyric... specifically pointing to a brilliant song by a songwriter I have long admired, Mr. Tom Waits.

Special musical guests on that show: Laura Clapp, George Wurzbach, and Mr. Tom Waits. (Click on their photo to visit their website, find out more about their music, where they're playing, and how to get their music.)

Okay...
Um... I know a lot of you are reading this in different parts of the country and the world... but, here in NYC, we had a taste of a little Spring-like weather on Saturday. Felt like we'll be heading out to the park to begin another season on "The Hill" sooner than you'd think. (It really cranks up again on May 5th. that's the date of my first permit. Gotta keep it legal, now.) If you wanna help out with the cost of the permits, the granola bars, batteries and whatnot, and to help keep "I Love the Company" coming to you every weekday, you can still make a donation by clicking on this link. (Thanks to everyone who's already thrown a few dollars. I'll be sending more personal emails soon.)
Gotta go, now.
Believe it or not I'm doing a photo shoot today so I can start doing some more corporate gigs. (Hey... don't let the word corporate scare you. It's still playing my music and getting the Good words, smiles and feeling out there.)
Thanks for everything.
Really.
Thanks guys.
