Well, tough bringing you a feel-good show on "I Love the Company". But, I think I've done it. Kinda cool getting close to the Spring and the thought that we'll be hangin' out together in Central Park soon.

In the meantime, there will be a new episode every day this week that I don't think you're gonna wanna miss. So, make sure you hit that itunes button over there or go to the ILTC website to subscribe to the podcast. In spite of everything, today's show is still fun.

You can click on this logo to listen. (Episode #223)

The reason I say it's kinda tough to give you a real feel-good show is that today marks the anniversary of the day we announced the beginning of an invasion in Iraq... although I believe we actually began bombing the shit out of Baghdad on March 20th, 4 years ago. (Damn George W. Bush. And, heaven help anyone who simply will not see this tragedy for what it is!) On the show today, I'm playing a song from my "Common Ground" CD... My Morning Coffee.

Who would've believed that we would travel so far through the looking glass after September 11th, 2001. In honor of this day, I'm gonna make some pencil drawings I did a while back available for you guys to download again. Pass 'em around the internet if you want. (Further down the page.)

Nightmare.

Anyway, like I said... we're still gonna smile a bit on the show this week. The musical guests on today's show: The Alice Project, and Bright Eyes. (Click on their photo to visit their websites, find out more about their music, where they're playing, and how to get their music.)

.

HEY!!!

Gimme a call!

Let me know where in the world you're listening. Let me know what you think of the artists I play on ILTC. If you are a songwriter yourself, give me a shout and send me some music to play on the show!

Hey everyone, call in with any comments, or opinions, or requests you have.... anything at all that you wanna say about the show "I Love the Company" or anything at all.

Um... I'm still lookin' for an apartment but I think I'm gonna get lucky. (I am the luckiest man alive, after all.) And, oh...

I also wanna thank everyone who helped out in a very practical way. A lot of you have already helped out with the cost of the permits, the granola bars, batteries and whatnot, and to help keep "I Love the Company" coming to you every weekday. If you want, you can still make a donation by clicking on this link. (Thanks to everyone who's already thrown a few dollars. I'll be sending more personal emails soon.)

Okay here...

Here are those drawings. (Click on the thumbnail for the larger download-able image.)

. . . . . .

I call them, "Damned Scooter!" - "The Wheels Came Off" - "'At's My Boy!" - "Who Knew Pants Really Catch Fire?"

Alright, I'm outta here. See you back here tomorrow.

Hopefully with some good news about my apartment situation.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
