Okay, okay. Bill O'Reilly's off the hook... for now.

No, I didn't get the song about Bill O'Reilly finished for this week's wake-up episode. But, I'll have it ready for next week. Y'know, I eventually had to write a song about the person that Keith Olbermann of Countdown refers to as "The Big Giant Head".

Olbermann as The BGH

Yeah, I'll get it down. And then along with The Religion Song, Where'dat Money Go , Talk Louder and Tom Cruise Scares Me... Bill O will be a hit in Central Park this summer.

In the meantime, I have a pretty cool show for you today on "I Love the Company". It's the "Weekly Wake-up Call". (Show#230) Go ahead and click on this logo to listen right now.

Special musical guest on today's show: Doug MacCleod. (Click on his photo to visit his website, find out more about him, where he's playing, and how to get his music.)

THIS THURSDAY NIGHT... I think I'm goin' with my good, good friend Sid Bernstein to meet with Senator Bill Bradley. (A man I have always admired and would love to see run for president again.) Senator Bradley's got a new book out and I'm gonna see if he'd say a few words about it on the podcast soon.

It'd be pretty cool if the Senator decides he loves the company, too.

I actually have a question I've been wanting to ask him for a long, long time. Maybe I'll finally get a chance to do that.

Anyway, listen to today's show and, of you're new around here, go back through the "Archives and check out some other shows. All 230 are still here for you to download.

Cool?

Oh yeah! Here are the phone numbers for you guys to call the show and leave a message for me, or a comment, or opinion... or to give a shout to any of the artists you hear on the podcast.

Anywhere in North America:

In Europe:

I'm also actually asking any of you to introduce one of the episodes of ILTC. All you hafta do is leave a brief message, saying who you are and where you live and then introduce the show any way you want. You can also call in with any comments, or opinions, or requests you have.... anything at all that you wanna say about the show "I Love the Company" or anything at all.

See you guys back here next time.

D'oh!!! And, oh yeah...

I wanna let you all know that the Central Park Permit Fund for '07 is continuing. (Could really use everybody's help with that effort. You can click on any of these links or the PayPal button over there on the right, under The Weather section.) It also helps keep the podcast going strong every weekday. Damn! It's turned into a full time job, keepin' it goin'!

See you back here tomorrow and every day next week. Bring a few friends around. "I Love the Company"!

Thanks a lot.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
