Spring is here!
Okay... so, you wouldn't know it by walkin' around this town today. But, it's here. And, that means it really can't be too, too long before we're all hangin' out together in Central Park.

Can't wait.
Y'know, I've been talking lately about collaborating with some other songwriters, like Cassie Kubinski, Mark Aaron James, Sam Leopold and others. Well, I received an mp3 from a much younger songwriter than myself and decided to take a run at it yesterday. So, in about 6 hours I wrote and recorded a version of his son that I hope he digs.

His name is Vinny.
So, go ahead an click on this logo to listen to episode #224. (Give the track a chance... you gotta listen all the way through to see what we've done with it.)

The other musical guests on today's show: Sam Leopold, and Cassie, and Mark Aaron James. (Click on their photo to visit their websites, find out more about their music, where they're playing, and how to get their music.)

.
Today (as most days around here) the show is all about music, and the people who make music, and the people who love music.
But on "I Love the Company" tomorrow... it's the "Weekly Wake-Up Call". Yeah, we're beginning the 5th year of that nightmare the George W. Bush administration created in Iraq and Afghanistan. I would really love it if you called the show and let me know how you feel... really feel about what's goin' on in this country and the world. (Please... please tell me you still think about it. Please tell me that you still care.

Let me know where in the world you're listening. Let me know what you think of the artists I play on ILTC. If you are a songwriter yourself, give me a shout and send me some music to play on the show!
I also wanna thank everyone who helped out in a very practical way. A lot of you have already helped out with the cost of the permits, the granola bars, batteries and whatnot, and to help keep "I Love the Company" coming to you every weekday. If you want, you can still make a donation by clicking on this link. (Thanks to everyone who's already thrown a few dollars. I'll be sending more personal emails soon.)
Okay here... I'm gonna make these drawings that I did available for download for one more day. Have fun passing them around. (Click on the thumbnail for the larger download-able image.)

Alright, I'm outta here. See you back here tomorrow.
Hopefully with some good news about my apartment situation.
Thanks for everything.
