Gonna continue the contest from yesterday. Getting some cool phone calls. (A lot of you really know your movies.... man!) The contest is toward the bottom of this update!

Yeah... and then it's time to wake up again on "I Love the Company".

Time for another "Weekly Wake-Up Call". Here it is on show #202.

On todays' show, I'm gonna be rambling a little bit. I'm a little bit all over the place. Y'know, besides talking about a few things that I really wanna talk about, and playing a few songs that I really wanna play...I'd reeeealllly like to hear from you.

The people.

It's just us.

You...

Yeah, you.

After you listen to the show, pick up the phone, okay? Go ahead and pick up the phone. Let me know what's on your mind. What's bothering you. How you feel. What concerns you. What gives you hope. What you think. What pisses you off... whatever you would like to talk about.

Click on this logo for show # 202.

Or, download it to crank it up whenever you want.

Musical guest: Jay Mankita. (Click on his photos to visit his website, find out more about him, where he's playing, and how to get his music.)

React to something you hear on the show, or throw out a topic you'd like to hear discussed on an upcoming ILTC. Maybe even on today's show.

Let me know what you think about what's goin' on in the world, in Washington, in music, in Life. Maybe we'll get to play your comments or questions on the show.

OKAY!

Here's a little ILTC contest. I talked about this on the show yesterday. I'm posting images of a few memorable movie-kisses for you to peruse... and, if you feel like it, see how many of the films you can name. (There are 35 images here. Call the show and let me know how many you could identify. The person who can name the most films will get a FREE CD of their choice (Well, y'know... one of my CDs.) ...and a "Crazy on the Same Day" t-shirt in the mail.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ........

.

.

.....oh, and what the fuck.

.

.

Oh hell, call just for fun. Tell me which of these great kisses you really dug and why.

But, I'd really like to hear from you for the "Wake-Up Call". It's also that time of year again... kind of a fund-raising-drive-time. So, on a completely different note, if you live in the NYC area... thanks to the several people who already sent a donation to the "Central Park Permit Fund" of '07. (I will be sending you individual emails in the next couple of days.) I could really use it and really, really appreciate it. Believe it or not, the NYC Parks Department already needed the money for this year's Special Events Permits. Actually, they already took the money for the first round of permits out of my account. (The $45 Sound Device Permits from the NYPD are next.)

So, yeah you can click on this link to help out if you feel like it, with PayPal or Amazon. (But, PayPal doesn't take as much as Amazon.)

Y'know... you can also consider any donation a big help to keep the podcast going. (It really has turned into a full-time job.)

See you again in a few minutes.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
