Gonna try to bring you a brand new episode of "I Love the Company" every day this week. And, show #207 is a little further down this page right now. But...
YES!!!
YES!!!
Yeah, man! This coming Thursday night... here in New York City! We're gonna shake these winter blues!
We'll get together and share that "It's Just Us" feeling like in the Spring and Summer in Central Park!

Call a few friends and tell them to meet you there! Around 9:00 until around 11:00 at Makor Cafe. (Early enough gig for a weeknight.)
Don't miss it!!! Chances to get together like this are rare in the winter months. If a lot of you show up for this one, I think Makor will wanna host more and more of these nights!!!
Man! We all need it. Just to let loose and sing and laugh together for a few hours. Remember we held the CD release concert for "Common Ground" at Makor a while back. Great people, great sounding room, really cool venue. Good food, couple of drinks... kick back. Relax.

Makor Cafe is on West 67th Street, between CPW and Broadway. You can call for tickets right now and make sure you reserve a seat (212-601-1000) ...or tomorrow you can start getting tickets online. The place seats about 200 people. (Unlike Merkin Hall which seats around 500.) More intimate kinda setting. Perfect for a cold winter night if you ask me.
My buddy Sid Bernstein, the man who brought The Beatles to America, is gonna be there in the audience. All the same beautiful faces you see on "The Hill" in Central Park will be there. And, I asked the people at Makor to low-ball the admission price for this show. (Usually they go around 15 or 20 dollars.)
We're doin' this one for $12.
(I might get a few fellow singer/songwriters to show up and kick some stuff around. Maybe I'll be able to talk Dodger into sittin' in at this one.)

Hope I see you there.
I miss sharing live music with you guys.

A LITTLE HELP?
Okay, this is the time of year when we run the Central Park Permit Fund. It's continuing for '07. Thanks to everyone who already sent something in. (I'm emailing you guys personally.) Y'know, you also help keep ILTC coming to you every weekday! If you wanna help out with the cost of getting out and making music in Central Park, or you feel like helping out with a little donation so that we can keep the podcast ("I Love the Company") going strong, here are the details.
I really appreciate it. Believe it or not, the NYC Parks Department already needed the money for this year's Special Events Permits. Actually, they already took the money for the first round of permits out of my account. (The $45 Sound Device Permits from the NYPD are next.) I figure it costs about $100 a weekend to do what we do at "The Hill".
So, yeah you can click on this link to help out if you feel like it, with PayPal or Amazon. (But, PayPal doesn't take as much as Amazon.) Y'know... you can also consider any donation a big help to keep the podcast going. (It really has turned into a full-time job.)
Thanks everyone. (Man! this is like NPR or PBS in a way!)
OKAY!
See you THURSDAY NIGHT I hope.
Thanks again.
