Okay! Let's just do it!!!

Have you had enough... being cooped up? Missing that "It's Just Us" feeling?

DO YOU WANT TO HAVE AN INDOOR CONCERT WITH ME NEXT WEEK!?

Y'know, I've got a bunch of new songs to run by you guys. I have some kickin' cover tunes to share with you.

You think you'd like to show up on a Thursday night... not too late... not too expensive (Like maybe $12) in a great sounding, really comfortable venue? A place to get a little something to eat, a few drinks, just hang out and sing and laugh together for a while. See all the same beautiful faces you see in Central Park on a warm, sunny afternoon.

I think I might just do an indoor gig at Makor next Thursday night. Remember that venue where we held the CD release concert for "COMMON GROUND" a while back. (Sold the damned place out!) Well, I think I can book the 9:30 to 11:00 slot right now. For this coming Thursday, March 1.

What d'ya think?

Email me right away and let me know if you want me to book this gig, okay? YOU GOTTA LET ME KNOW, OKAY!?

Or, call this number and leave a message of desperation.... have fun telling me why you need to get together and sing a little!

646-224-8162

Let me know if you can bring a couple of friends. If I think we can fill that place, then I'll know it's worth it!

In fact... let's start getting together more and more this winter.

Listen, here's a brand new episode of "I Love the Company". After you listen to show #207, pick up the phone and let me know how you feel about LIVE music, okay? (The phone numbers are further down this page.)

Musical guests: George Wurzbach, and Eric Schwartz. (Click on their photos to visit their websites, find out more about them, where they're playing, and how to get their music.)

.

And by the way, click on this link if you missed our little milestone at show #200.

Okay, and like I said yesterday, the Central Park Permit Fund is continuing for '07. You'll also help keep ILTC coming to you every weekday! If you wanna help out with the cost of getting out and making music in Central Park, or you feel like helping out with a little donation so that we can keep the podcast ("I Love the Company") going strong, here are the details.

I really appreciate it. Believe it or not, the NYC Parks Department already needed the money for this year's Special Events Permits. Actually, they already took the money for the first round of permits out of my account. (The $45 Sound Device Permits from the NYPD are next.) I figure it costs about $100 a weekend to do what we do at "The Hill".

So, yeah you can click on this link to help out if you feel like it, with PayPal or Amazon. (But, PayPal doesn't take as much as Amazon.) Y'know... you can also consider any donation a big help to keep the podcast going. (It really has turned into a full-time job.)

Okay, cool. AND... I wanna tell you. I miss playing music for you and hangin' with all of you here in New York City. So, let me know if you wanna start getting together indoors!

Before I get outta here, I'll give you the ILTC phone numbers so you can call and let me know if you'll show up for a gig... or call with a comment or opinion, or request, or a topic you'd like addressed on the "Weekly Wake-Up Call", or just... just to say "Hi".

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
