Today's news.

YEAH! There's a brand new episode of "I Love the Company" on this page today. AND....

This THURSDAY NIGHT, here in New York City. A last minute chance to share music and laughs with all of you in a great, great-sounding, really comfortable music room... right on West 67th Street near Central Park West. I've got some new songs to run by you for the Spring CD. Call a few friends and tell them to meet you there! Around 9:00 until around 11:00 at Makor Cafe. Early enough gig for a weeknight. And, yeah... "Dodger" (Jimmy Buffet's original lead guitarist and my good buddy) has agreed to sit in. Gonna be great!

And, I asked them to set the price of admission.... low, low, low for this one. (Because it's so last minute and I think we all need it.) Every seat in the house is only $12.

You can reserve a place online right now by clicking on this logo.

Or call the box office directly. (212-601-1000)

Or just show up if it doesn't sell out. (The place holds around 200 people, I think.)

.

Okay... today's question?

.

Got Lisa?

.

Yes.... on today's episode of "I Love the Company", Lovely Lisa is back. Really fun show today. (#209) Just click on this logo to check it out. (Like I always say, you don't need an ipod to listen to a podcast. Just turn on your speakers, or plug in your headphones and listen.

Special musical guest on today's show: Cassie Kubinski. (Click on her photo to visit her website, find out more about her, where she's playing, and how to get her new CD. Hold the Sun)

After you listen, all the show and leave a message for me, or for Lisa, or Cassie, or Sid Bernstein from show #208. I'll give you the ILTC phone numbers so you can call with a comment or opinion, or request, or a topic you'd like addressed on the "Weekly Wake-Up Call", or just... just to say "Hi".

Chances are I will play your message, opinion or comment right on the show for the whole world. It's fun!

BY THE WAY... the Central Park Permit Fund for '07 is continuing. (Could really use everybody's help with that effort. The PayPal button is over there on the right, under The Weather.)

I'm gonna be back tomorrow with an all-new show on "I Love the Company". And show #210 is the "Weekly Wake-Up Call".

Hope you guys aren't gonna get all apathetic and numb on me. Tomorrow's show is another episode about RELIGION... especially the harm it does when it flirts with, and sometimes molests, American politics.

I really wanna hear from you... whether you are a religious person or not, okay?

The phone numbers are toward the top of this page.

Okay.... outta here.

I know there are people reading this all over the country and in different parts of the world. But if you are anywhere near New York City on Thursday night, I hope I get to hang out with you for a few hours.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
