Yeah Man!

Let's shake this winter funk!

Don't make me do this!!!

So, for just a few hours this Thursday Night!

9:00 at Makor Cafe... we'll hang out and sing together until around 11:00. Early enough night! Great venue! Really, really sweet, great sounding, comfortable music room. (Remember, we did the CD release concert for "Common Ground" at the Makor Cafe.)

We'll share that Springtime and Summer feeling from "The Hill" in Central Park.

I asked the people at Makor to low-ball the ticket price on this concert. So, we get it for $12 admission price on this one. Really cool for that venue!

You can call for tickets right now (212-601-1000) ...and you'll be able to get 'em right online starting Monday morning. I believe the place seats abut 200 people. (Unlike Merkin Hall which seats around 500.) More intimate kinda setting. Perfect for a cold winter night if you ask me.

Hope I see you there.

I miss sharing live music with you guys.

Speaking of LIVE music... that's what this episode of "I Love the Company" is all about this weekend. It's episode #207. Just turn your speakers on, or put in your ear buds, then click on this logo and give it a listen. Then give me a call and be a part of the show.

A LITTLE HELP?

Okay, this is the time of year when we run the Central Park Permit Fund. It's continuing for '07. Thanks to everyone who already sent something in. (I'm emailing you guys personally.) Y'know, you also help keep ILTC coming to you every weekday! If you wanna help out with the cost of getting out and making music in Central Park, or you feel like helping out with a little donation so that we can keep the podcast ("I Love the Company") going strong, here are the details.

I really appreciate it. Believe it or not, the NYC Parks Department already needed the money for this year's Special Events Permits. Actually, they already took the money for the first round of permits out of my account. (The $45 Sound Device Permits from the NYPD are next.) I figure it costs about $100 a weekend to do what we do at "The Hill".

So, yeah you can click on this link to help out if you feel like it, with PayPal or Amazon. (But, PayPal doesn't take as much as Amazon.) Y'know... you can also consider any donation a big help to keep the podcast going. (It really has turned into a full-time job.)

Thanks everyone. (Man! this is like NPR or PBS in a way!)

OKAY!

See you THURSDAY NIGHT I hope.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
