Got a fun show on the "Weekly Wake-Up Call". What happened was.... I learned that a genuine slimeball, (Ex-Republican Congressman Tom Delay) who resigned his office after being indicted for money-laundering, actually put up a website this past Sunday and tried to jump into the world of blogging. (Well, kinda. He didn't actually write the blog. He had somebody else do it. He just came up with the idea of needing to share his glorious ideas about honesty and integrity.)

It's great!

They pulled the website down faster than you can say "unAmerican douchebag"! Because the negative and outrageous comments that followed poured in like a tsunami.)

You'll hafta listen to the show. Here, click on this logo to hear show #175.

Or download it to listen whenever you want.

My musical guest on today's show is a guy I used to run with down on Bleecker Street years ago in the crazy days.... Paul Hipp. (Click on his photo to visit his website, find out about him, where he's playing and how to get his music.)

Ha! It really is a blast!

Hey listen... um, tomorrow's show is gonna be another great conversation with my good, good friend Mr. Sid Bernstein. I'm hoping that Lisa, my co-host (And, love) will be joining us, but she might have something else that she feels is really important for her to do. So, we'll see.

In the meantime, I hope everyone everywhere is enjoying this time of year... no matter how you choose to enjoy it. It's kinda nice to take the time to let the people you love really know you love them. It's also a pretty cool time to glance back, and then imagine ahead. Y'know.... imagine what you want your next lap around the Sun to look and feel like.

After you listen to the show today, call one of these numbers to say "HEY"!

Um. Especially if you're a woman. It feels like 90% of the callers... are men!

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT!

Okay, sure... it might be because Lisa is stunningly pretty. But, Lisa just joined the show and it's always been this way. Women seem to want to send me emails mostly. I get dozens and dozens of emails from women all the time. (Maybe you girls are a little shy about hearing your voices on the show.) Oh c'mon... get over it. Have a little fun. Call the show! Say "Hey" to Lisa if you want. You can talk about whatever you want.... make a comment, ask a question, suggest an artist, make a request, offer to paint my kitchen. No, okay forget the kitchen.

Here are the numbers...

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
