All right!!!!

(No, "alright" oughta be a word.)

Come to think of it... "oughta" oughta be a word! (See? This is the kinda thing I actually talk about in front of a few thousand people every weekend in Central Park!)

ANYWAY... the "Year-End Concert" at Merkin Concert Hall is TONIGHT!

So, I'm gonna make this a very, very short update. Got a lot to do before we take the stage tonight. (Sound check, load in... make fudge.) Yeah, we're makin' fudge... no, Lisa's makin' fudge for the band.

Um, if you don't have tickets yet, I can tell you this. There are still a few really good seats left. A block of the best seats were just released for sale today!!!! So, if you wanna grab them, call the box office right now... or take your chances (A pretty good chance) and just show up at the theater tonight. The gig starts at 8:00

Here's the box office phone number:

212-501-3330

Now! If you are not in the New York City area.... we're gonna record the show and bring it to you on "I Love the Company".

On TODAY'S show.. got something reeealllly special. Earlier this week, I introduced Lisa to all of you here at the Guitar Man website. Well, go and meet her on ILTC today. Hopefully, she's gonna be joining me quite a bit on the show.

And, there will be a brand new show tomorrow morning and every day this week!

TONIGHT... MAN! We're gonna have a good time. But, before I get into all of that, I gotta tell you that you oughta listen to today's podcast. It's episode #170 of "I Love the Company". Because on today's show, I'm giving out that pass-phrase again. Then when you come to the concert tomorrow night, if you tell the people at the CD table the pass-phrase, you get this kickin' T-shirt... for FREE.

Cool?

And, I made a very special edition CD just to be sold at this gig. It's a collection of some of the hits from this past summer that you can't get on any of the other CDs. (It's a relly cool, uniquely New York Christmas gift and it's only $10. (Or, it's also FREE when you buy one of the regular CDs.)

"Tom Cruise Scares Me"
"The Religion Song"
"Oh, Exxon"
"A different Cowboy's Lament"
"Next Time Around" (The New Year Song)

I'm tellin' you... get a chunk of your holiday shopping done right in the lobby before and after the show. ALL of the CDs will be on sale. (And, they're all really easy to wrap!)

Gonna be a great show this year. We always have a great time at Merkin Hall... a great way to kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door. I checked the box office yesterday afternoon. IT LOOKS LIKE WE'RE GONNA HAVE A GREAT CROWD!!! We're gonna have a blast. My good, good buddy Roger Bartlett is back from Las Vegas and is gonna be sharing the stage with me in a few days. It'll be the first time we're gonna make music together since the Voices Together Concert almost a year ago. I think you're probably gonna be able to walk up and get seats the night of the show. But, it's gonna be really close to a sell-out.

You can also get tickets online right this minute by clicking on this link!

This year Roger Bartlett is back in town. George Wurzbach, Ryan Kelly and Cassie Kubinski are all gonna share the stage with me. (Along with a couple of surprises.)

Oh yeah, and on today's ILTC... my musical guests are: Bubble and Black Lab. (Click on their names to visit their websites, find out about them, here they're playing and how to get their music.)

Okay, gotta get ready for the gig... GOTTA MAKE THE FUDGE!

SEE YOU TONIGHT!!!!

Thanks for a great year!

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
