It's cool.

When a storm blows everything down, one of the very best things to come you of it is the opportunity to clear away the wreckage and the chance to rebuild everything but better than it was before.

So... here we are.

I missed a few days of updates. But, I promise to make it up to you with a new show today and a new show for the weekend. That's the way it's supposed to be. That's what I said I would do when we started this whole thing, and that's what I intend to do.

There is a new episode of "I Love the Company" here today. Just click on this logo.

Or download it to listen whenever you want.

No musical guests on today's show, but a little snippet of a song by Don Henley to demonstrate a feeling I have about both songwriting and life.

Okay, y'know what?

I have so much to do to build both a podcasting empire and a good, sweet life... I'm gonna cut this short today. THANK YOU to all of you who sent suggestions and offers and condolences and sweet thoughts about the big "CRASH of 2006". It's probably a good way to go out so that I can start everything fresh and new for 2007.

I'm gonna be back to tell you very soon about my plans for the new CD. Now, that Dodger is back in town, i'm gonna get it going sooner than later.

If you're new here... go back and listen to a few episodes of ILTC. (There are 175 of 'em) Then call me and let me know what you think.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
