Okay, here we go!

First things first... a series of questions.

First question:

Who's the happiest man alive? (I'll answer that one.)

Me.

Lisa

'nough said... for now.

Now, answer me these three more questions.

There are 3 days until the gig at Merkin Concert Hall. And, James Marino just came up with a great idea! First of all... oh yeah. Okay... 3 questions!!! (Man! I feel like the guardian in Monty Python's Holy Grail!)

Have you ever been to the hill in Central Park?

Are you planning to be at the "Year-End Concert" this Wednesday night?

And...

Do you listen to the podcast? (I Love the Company)

Well, if you listen to "I Love the Company" today, tomorrow and Wednesday, I'll be giving you a password... yeah, a secret password... so that when you come to the show, all you hafta do is walk up to the table where all the CDs are being sold and say it , and you'll get this... for FREE.

Hey! This is a really damned good T-shirt. I mean it! It's like a $20, really good quality shirt. And, you get it for FREE when you come to the concert and know the password. So, listen to the podcast and come to the gig this Wednesday and get one!

And, y'know what else!?

I made a very special edition CD just to be sold at this gig. It's a collection of some of the hits from this past summer that you can;t get onn any of the other CDs. (It's a relly cool, uniquely New York Christmas gift and it's only $10. (Or, it's also FREE when you buy one of the regular CDs.)

"Tom Cruise Scares Me"
"The Religion Song"
"Oh, Exxon"
"A different Cowboy's Lament"
"Next Time Around" (The New Year Song)

I'm tellin' you... get a chunk of your holiday shopping done right in the lobby before and after the show. (And, they're all really easy to wrap!)

Gonna be a great show this year. We always have a great time at Merkin Hall... a great way to kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door. I checked the box office yesterday afternoon. IT LOOKS LIKE WE'RE GONNA HAVE A GREAT CROWD!!! We're gonna have a blast. My good, good buddy Roger Bartlett is back from Las Vegas and is gonna be sharing the stage with me in a few days. It'll be the first time we're gonna make music together since the Voices Together Concert almost a year ago. I think you're probably gonna be able to walk up and get seats the night of the show. But, it's gonna be really close to a sell-out.

Now.... the box office is open today, tomorrow and Wednesday. If you want, you can call them directly:

212-501-3330

You can also get tickets online right this minute by clicking on this link!

This year Roger Bartlett is back in town. George Wurzbach, Ryan Kelly and Cassie Kubinski are all gonna share the stage with me. (Along with a couple of surprises.)

Oh yeah, and on today's ILTC... my musical guests are: Beth Thornley and Roger Bartlett. (Click on their photois to visit their websites, find out about them, here they're playing and how to get their music.)

.

Okay... gotta get ready for the gig in a couple of days.

SEE YOU WEDNESDAY!!!!

Thanks for a great year!

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
