Y'know?

"I Love the Company" more and more.

I really do. If you're one of those people who "get it", then I'm really glad you're showin' up. Bring a few more friends with you to listen to the podcast. Get 'em all to subscribe so they can get 'em automatically every day. Got a great show today where I'm playing a few of your phone calls and some behind-the-scenes recordings from some rehearsals for the upcoming "Year-End Concert" here in New York City next week. (More about that in minute.)

Here, check out ther podcast. It's show #167.

Or, download it to listen to whenever you want.

Y'know what?

Here is one of the cover songs that we might be playing again at the concert on December 6th. (Again, we'll be makin' it up as we go along.) But, today on this website, I'm makin' it a free download today. It's a recorded-live sound file from last year's concert. Now, the sound quality is a little rough. But, you get to hear how the audience really gets into it... singin' and sharing that "It's Just Us" feeling every year.

Click on this photo to give it a listen.

Hey listen... on TODAY's ILTC, got a couple of great phone calls to share with you. One of them came in from a fellow singer/songwriter and like-minded, kindred Creative spirit named Jason Carson. So, he instantly became my musical guest on the show. Click on this photo to visit his site, find out more about him and how to get his music.

HEY!!! Were you at the "YEAR-END CONCERT" last year!? if you were, or if you've been to any of these gigs, you know... what an amazing time we have in that concert hall every year. It's kind of a celebration of what we do all summer in Central Park all summer. Kind of a way to kick 2006 in the ass as it heads out the door.

Well, it's right on us again!!! This coming Wednesday.

Yeah, yeah... again. This is a kind of a commercial.

It's a time we all get together at Merkin Concert Hall for one night at the end of the year.

Man! I need you guys this year! Seriously... you gotta pick me up, okay? I just gotta get my guitar on my shoulder and hang with all of you.

Well, it's happenin' next week here in New York City. (On West 67th Street, near Linclon Center.) We have a blast every year! We laugh as much as we sing. But, you guys told me you wanted it a little bit earlier this year, and that your weekends are slammin' busy around now, so we made it on Wednesday night, December 6th.

But, here's a cool thing for this year! ARE YOU JUST STARTING TO RIP INTO YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING? Got a bunch of people and you don't know exactly what to get 'em?

I think maybe this could be a special, one-of-a-kind, uniquely New York gift for them. In the lobby before the gig my CDs are gonna be available. "People on the Hill", "In Person", "It's Just Us", "Crazy on the Same Day", Common Ground".

BUT!!!

I made a special CD with some of the hits from this past year... a few of the songs you guys all told me you really liked. And, at the concert, it's only $10... no tax, no nothin'. Or... you can get it FREE with any of the other CDs you buy!)

"Tom Cruise Scares Me"
"The Religion Song"
"Oh, Exxon"
"A different Cowboy's Lament"
"Next Time Around" (The New Year Song)

Think about the people in your life that might get a real kick out of this, then come to the concert and get it!

Cool?

Or, get your tickets online right now by clicking on this link!

The damned show is only $20 like it's been for years!!!! Don't get sold-out, okay?

Okay... gotta get going.

Gotta make some music.

See you Wednesday Night!

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
