It's SATURDAY.

Y'know, I wouldn't tell you guys the details of what I've been goin' through lately, but I can tell you this. OH MAN!!! I am sooooo lookin' forward to getting my guitar on my shoulder and feeling the energy in a beautiful New York City concert hall. I can't wait to feed off the energy comin' out of a crowd of beautiful people!

Y'know, it's freeeeezzzing here in New York City.

Must mean it's the time of year to get together at Merkin Concert Hall for the "Year End Concert". This Wednesday night!!!

Were you there last year?

I checked the box office yesterday afternoon. IT LOOKS LIKE WE'RE GONNA HAVE A GREAT CROWD!!! We're gonna have a blast. My good, good buddy Roger Bartlett is back from Las Vegas and is gonna be sharing the stage with me in a few days. It'll be the first time we're gonna make music together since the Voices Together Concert almost a year ago. I think you're probably gonna be able to walk up and get seats the night of the show. But, it's gonna be really close to a sell-out.

Now.... the box office is closed on Saturday. But, you can get tickets online right this minute by clicking on this link!

Or if you want, you can call them tomorrow directly:

212-501-3330

(Yeah, they're open on Sunday.)

Okay, a little bit more about that in a minute. BUT... right now, click on this logo to listen to the weekend edition of "I Love the Company".

Or, download it to listen to whenever you want.

On TODAY's ILTC, got a couple of great phone calls to share with you. One of them came in from a fellow singer/songwriter and like-minded, kindred Creative spirit named Jason Carson. So, he instantly became my musical guest on the show. Click on this photo to visit his site, find out more about him and how to get his music.

Okay, now... I'm gonna be spending most of the day today kickin' around some ideas for the show this Wednesday with all four of the kids that will be on stage with me this week. MERKIN HALL is right down near Lincoln Center on West 67th Street. Every year we laugh as much as we sing. But, you guys told me you wanted it a little bit earlier this year, and that your weekends are slammin' busy around now, so we'll do it in the middle of this week.

But, here's another cool thing for this year! ARE YOU JUST STARTING TO RIP INTO YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING? Got a bunch of people and you don't know exactly what to get 'em?

I think maybe this could be a special, one-of-a-kind, uniquely New York gift for them. In the lobby before the gig my CDs are gonna be available. "People on the Hill", "In Person", "It's Just Us", "Crazy on the Same Day", Common Ground".

BUT!!!

I made a special CD with some of the hits from this past year... a few of the songs you guys all told me you really liked. And, at the concert, it's only $10... no tax, no nothin'. Or... you can get it FREE with any of the other CDs you buy!)

"Tom Cruise Scares Me"
"The Religion Song"
"Oh, Exxon"
"A different Cowboy's Lament"
"Next Time Around" (The New Year Song)

Think about the people in your life that might get a real kick out of this, then come to the concert and get it!

Cool?

Okay... gotta get going.

Gotta make some music.

See you Wednesday Night!

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
