Goodbye to another summer....

.

Great line from a beautiful song written by Mr. James Taylor...

"Cause I can sing this song,
And you can sing this song... when I'm gone.

.

.

But, no.... I'm not goin' anywhere.

I'm still here at the website, and I'm gonna be hangin' with all of you at the "Year-End Concert" at Merkin Concert Hall on December 6th. And, I'm right here on the daily podcast, "I Love the Company".

Today is Wednesday... so, on ILTC it's another "Wednesday Wake-Up Call"

(It's a 24-minute internet show or podcast.) Just turn on your speakers and click on this logo.

Or, download it to listen to whenever you want.

And, please, please please... after you listen to today's show, BE HEARD.

I'm doin' all the talkin' on today's show. But, I really wanna hear from all of you. Here are the phone numbers if you wanna chime in.

In the U.S.

646-224-8162

From Europe:

It's just us. Give the show a listen. And, then call one of those numbers to leave a message or a comment if you have anything to say. Have fun. Call the number and be a part of the whole thing.

OH YEAH! And, as promised... here is a repeat of the 2 special-editions of ILTC. (The 12-minute bonus installments of "The Wednesday Wake up Call". One features an analysis of the Military Commissions Act that was just signed into U.S. law. It's a great segment with Professor of Consituional Law at George Washington University, Jonathan Turley. And the other is a special comment by one of the very few people in cable news who actually "gets" what tis country is aboutand hgas the balls to say so... Keith Olbermann..

It's a song about one of the greatest engines of human conflict ever devised, click on this photo to get the song! It's "The Religion Song" and it's brand new. I played it in Central Park this summer, AND I PLAYED IT IN THE SONGWRITER'S CIRCLE LAST NIGHT... and it's getting some reaction around the internet. People are emailing and calling in from all over about this one.

Click on the photo for the mp3.

Okay, before I get outta here I'm gonna ask you all to check out the MySpace page. And, when you do I'd like you to sign up as a friend. I'm very new on the damned thing. But, I'm really exploring the whole MySpace thing to see if it's gonna be fun and worth the effort.

Let me know what you think, okay?

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
