Summer's gone. Miss it already.

But, we've got a really great show in "I Love the Company" today. I had a conversation with one music legend about one of his long-time friends... another music legend. You're not gonna wanna miss this one, and you're probably gonna wanna tell your friends to check it out as well.

It's just the first part of a very intimate conversation I had yesterday with Sid Berstein, the man who brought The Beatles to America. With a songwriter that I admire, Paul McCartney, being in the news so much these days over something as ugly as a nasty divorce, I thought I'd go right to the source and ask somone who knows the man and calls him a friend.

Here... turn on your speakers and click on this logo to hear the show.

Or, download it to listen to whenever you want.

My musical guest on today's show is the beautiful and talented rock n roll girl form the west coast... Beth Thornley. (AS always, click on her photo to visit her Podsafe page.)

(I thought one of her tunes had a definitely McCartney-like vibe in the chord changes, so she made it onto today's special show.)

I'd love to know what you think after you've listened to the show, Here... use one of these numbers to call and leave a message or a comment... or just to say "Hey".

I played it in Central Park this summer... and it's getting some reaction around the internet. People are emailing and calling in from all over about this one.

Okay, before I get outta here I'm gonna ask you all to check out the MySpace page. And, when you do I'd like you to sign up as a friend. I'm very new on the damned thing. But, I'm really exploring the whole MySpace thing to see if it's gonna be fun and worth the effort.

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.

You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
