Get outta town!!!

No... seriously.

Are you getting out of town today?

Not me. I'm hangin' out and bein' quiet today. I've had a lot on my mind and a lot in my heart lately. So, I'm just gonna hang quiet, and enoy the peace that comes from watching everybody else fight traffic and crowds in a frenzy to get away for a 4-day weekend.

Then, I'll slip out to my sister's on Long Island and have a sweet family Thanksgiving tomorrow. (I'm a lucky man to have a warm and loving family and I don't take it for granted. Good, good people I was lucky enough to be born around.)

But today... TODAY IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER "WEEKLY WAKE-UP CALL" on "I Love the Company"

Just turn on your speakers and click on this logo to hear the show.

Or, download it to listen to whenever you want.

You can also subscribe to the show to get it automatically every time there's a new episode by hitting that itunes button over there, or by visiting Our New Podshow+ Site.

Today's musical guests are: Eric Scwatrz and Jay Mankita. (As always, click on the photos to visit their websites, find out about them, where they're playing or how to get more of their music.)

.

Hey... okay, now! If you'd been out to "The Hill" in Central Park even just one time this summer... THANK YOU for another great year. It's just about time, though, to kick this year in the ass as it heads out the door. So... join me at Merkin Concert Hall here in New York City in exactly 2 weeks from tonight, okay.

I'm tellin' you, this gig is so much fun every year. It's the "Year-End Concert"! This year, it's gonna be great again. I'm already lookin' forward to hangin' out with you guys. Gonna have some wonderful guests on stage with me. Try not miss it. Seriously, try to get a bunch of friends together and make a night of it!

To call the box office directly, here's the number:

212-501-3330

Or, get your tickets online right now by clicking on this link!

The damned show is only $20 like it's been for years, now. Don't get sold-out, okay?

ONCE AGAIN... I'm feelin' like giving something away.

Okay... FREE STUFF! Here's a FREE download. I'd really like to hear from you about it. It's a song about one of the greatest engines of human conflict ever devised, click on this photo to get the song! It's "The Religion Song" and it's brand new. I played it in Central Park this summer, and it's getting some reaction around the internet. People are emailing and calling in from all over about this one.

Click on the photo for the mp3.

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.

You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
