FRIDAY! FRIDAY! FRIDAY! FRIDAY! FRIDAY!

Friday!!!

Um...

.

.

...means almost nothing to me.

.

Y'see, for me every day is a work-day and every day is a vacation-day. That's the way it feels when you do what you love with your life.

But, I guess it does mean that there is another all-new "I Love the Company" here at the website for you guys to listen to or download to hear over the weekend. Today's show... hmmmm... I think today's show is a kind of a feel-good show. I mean, it's a feel-good show for me. Because every time I get to deflate my ego and push a little more foolish pride off a cliff... it's a really good day.

And, I also happen to have a couple of my best muscial buddies on the show with me today... two men I really admire and respect as artists. (They're also both as fuckin' funny as they get.) Roger Bartlett, the man I call "Dodger", was Jimmy Buffett's lead guitarist for years in the original Coral Reefers, and George Wurzbach is a driving songwriting force of the group Modern Man. He also wrote one of the songs I covered on my most recent CD... "A Much Better View of the Moon".

Just listen to it to hear what the hell I'm tallkin' about.

Go ahead... click on this logo.

Or, download it to listen to whenever you want.

Here they are.... my musical guests on today's show and two guys who are gonna be on stage with me at Merkin Concert Hall. (As always, click on the photos to visit their websites, find out about them, where they're playing or how to get more of their music.)

It's just about time, though, to kick this year in the ass as it heads out the door. So... join me at Merkin Concert Hall here in New York City in exactly 3 weeks from last night. Wednesday night, December 6th!

I'm tellin' you, this gig is so much fun every year. It's the "Year-End Concert"! This year, it's gonna be great again. I'm already lookin' forward to hangin' out with you guys. Gonna have some wonderful guests on stage with me. Try not miss it. Seriously, try to get a bunch of friends together and make a night of it!

To call the box office directly, here's the number:

Or, get your tickets online right now by clicking on this link!

The damned show is only $20 like it's been for years, now. Don't get sold-out, okay?

Get a chance to sit in a great theater, look around, and see all the same faces you've see over the summer in Central Park.

See you there.

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.

You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
