Y'know?
I'm feeling very good and strong today.
Y'know, you always hear me say, "As a songwriter, you don't often get to write the song you wanna write. You just hafta write the next song that wants to be written."
Well, I gotta tell you. There is a song that wanted to start writing itself last night... but, I don't wanna write it! So, dammit, I'm not gonna! Hoo boy! Dilemma! "The white rose is dying... "

But, I promise you this... you will never hear that song. (Ha! 'Cause I ain't gonna write it.)
Oh man! Things are sometimes easier when I'm just hangin' in Central Park makin' music. (Guess it beats the scary frustration of writer's block.)

But, it's a new day, full of possibilities. And, like I also always say... I'm a possibility-junkie. Y'know, I was half-joking yesterday, if the podcast "I Love the Company" keeps getting popular in the UK, maybe next summer I'll just hop on a plane and become "That Guitar Man from Hyde Park".

Hyde Park in London
Except that I have a few of dreams I need to chase here in New York City. (And, one is an angel.) Sometimes dreams come true. Sometimes they don't. But, y'know... one of the most important Truths that I've learned over the last 15 years, through an immense amount of heartache and joy, is simply this... the Universe only ever has 3 answers for me:
1. Yes
2. Not yet
3. No, David... I have something more wonderful in Mind for you.
