Cool show on "I Love the Company" to wrap up the week. But first...

Thanks you to everyone who emailed me about yesterday's update when I said,

"...believe it or not, I've been going through a pretty rough patch in some very personal ways. But, y'know? I love my life, and I love all that I get to do around here."

It's all good. And, I'm so grateful that there are people who would actually take the time to email or call. But, it's cool. I'm good.

So, yeah. There are people reading this all over the world. But, if you're in New York City, what are you thinking for tomorrow?

I'm thinking the weather is gonna be perfect for just hangin out in Central Park with just my guitar. No sound equipment, no big hoo-ha... just us.

I did that last Saturday and it was pretty cool. I mean, I love the usual gig...

But, tomorrow I think we'll just hang like we did last week. That we, I actually get to talk to you guys and meet you more than I do when there's a few hundred at a time.

Okay, here's the Friday installlment of ILTC. Another fun show with some of your phone calls, some music from around the Podsafe Music Network, and a couple of heartfelt "THANK YOUs".

Right now, you can hear the weekend installment of "I Love the Company" (A 24-minute internet show or podcast) just by turning on your speakers and clicking on this logo.

Go ahead. Give the show a listen. And, then call this number to leave a message or a comment if you have anything to say. Have fun. Call the number and be a part of the whole thing.

It's just us.

Now we all start looking forward to the "Year-End Concert" at Merkin Concert Hall on December 6th. (More about that in a minute.)

But first, on today's ILTC the musical guests are: Black Lab and Ginny Clee. (As always, click on the photos to visit their websites, find out about them, where they're playing and how to get more of their music.)

.

Okay... YEAH! Concert!

Here we go! If you're in or around New York, or plan to be during the first week of December, you can get tickets right now for my annual "Year-End Concert" at Merkin Concert Hall on Wednesday, December 6th.

You can either call the box office directly:

212-501-3330

Or, get your seats online by clicking on this link. I'm tellin' you, that gig is so much fun every year. This year, it's gonna be great again. I'm already lookin' forward to hangin' out with you guys. Gonna have some wonderful guests on stage with me. Try not miss it. Get a bunch of friends together and make a night of it!

Oh yeah... and use that number if you have anything to say about the SPECIAL EXTRA BONUS EDITION OF "THE WEDNESDAY WAKE-UP CALL". It's 24 minutes long and it's specifically about the signing of the Military Commissions Act , and why I feel so strongly about the things I wrote in the song "Where's the Voice". If you care, if you give a shit... click on this link to listen or download it for later. It's a special segment called...

For People Who Actually Give a Shit

(Gonna be interesting to see the numbers on how many people check it out.)

Okay... FREE STUFF! Here are 2 new FREE downloads. I'd really like to hear from you about both of them. YEAH! One of these is the song that has rocketted around the internet over the past week or so. Okay, okay... so, it's a parody. But, I hadda get it out fast. Blame webmaster James Marino for this one! (Well, and ex-Congressman Mark Foley) This came about during a diner-run on Broadway a few weeks ago!

"Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Pages"

The other is a song about one of the greatest engines of human conflict ever devised, click on this photo to get the song! It's "The Religion Song" and it's brand new. I played it in Central Park this summer, and it's getting some reaction around the internet. People are emailing and calling in from all over about this one.

Click on the photo for the mp3.

Okay, before I get outta here I'm gonna ask you all to check out the MySpace page. And, when you do I'd like you to sign up as a friend. I'm very new on the damned thing. But, I'm really exploring the whole MySpace thing to see if it's gonna be fun and worth the effort.

Let me know what you think, okay?

Here's the link:

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.

You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
