Welcome to the website. It's a great 21st century extension of what I do when I'm hangin' out with my guitar and you guys in Central Park.

But, this is Wednesday! It's time for "The Wednesday Wake-Up Call" on "I Love the Company". But, oh no!!!
There's just too much shit goin' on!!! Too much insanity!
Oh, well... we'll forge right ahead and do the podcast anyway. And, I've got a BRAND NEW parody I'm gonna share with you. (With special thanks and my sincere apologies to Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.)
"Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Pages"
Here it is, "The Wednesday Wake-Up Call". Click on this logo to download it for later, or listen to it right now. It's another pretty cool show today.

Do me a favor, though. After you listen to today's show, call the ILTC number if you have anything to say. Anything at all. I'm making a couple of pretty strong and forthright statements on this show, musically and otherwise. (Why? Because I just have to.)
Go ahead... don't be shy. Call the number right now:
646-224-8162
Today's musical guests are: Karlus Trapp, Eric Schwartz (As always, click on the photos to visit thier websites, find out about them, where they're playing and how to get more of their music.)
.
My friend Karl has a new and powerful song on today's show that I really wanna share with you. And, Eric wrote one of the funniest and most pointed political songs of the year... maybe of all time. Listen to the show and let me know what you think.
And, I play a couple of your phone calls.
Y'know, I love the company here on the internet.... but, I really love the company every December! Right now, you might wanna make sure you get the best seats available for the annual, traditional, we-always-have-a-blast, YEAR-END CONCERT at Merkin Concert Hall on December 6th. (Tickets went on sale last week!)

It's a great way to kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door.
Even though the show sold out last year, a lot of people told me that they couldn't attend because it was so damned close to the holidays. So, this year the show is earlier... on Wednesday, December 6th. (I'll be sending out that email about it this week. So, if you wanna be among the first to get the best seats, go ahead and follow this link. You can get tickets every day this week!)
If it's easier, you can just call the box office number right now:
212-501-3330
Now, this is something that isn't a whole lotta fun for me to do. But, I committed to it and no matter how painful this is to do every day, I'm gonna keep bringing you...
GEORGE W. BUSH'S TRAGIC NUMBER
This just isn't funny. It's outrageously tragic. 17 more Americans have lost their lives in Iraq in the first 4 days of this month. But, that's only one horrible number.
Here at The Guitar Man website, I'm posting George W. Bush's "Tragic Number". That's the number of American fatalities in wholly unAmerican and immoral Iraq War until George W. Bush is directly responsible for the EQUAL number of people killed by Osama Bin Laden in the World Trade Center.
If YOU voted for him and continue to support his war, I hope you will wake up soon. At the time I posted this, the number stands at 16. (Of course, more Americans and certainly more Iraqis have probably died while you're reading this. People are dying so fast in the nightmare over there that I'm having a hard time keeping up with this update.)

Harsh?
You betcha!
Live with it. Or, wake up! It's not too late. (Well, it's too late for those who are dead or dying. But, it's not too late for you. As John Lennon said, "I hope someday you will join us.")
Moving on...
Okay, before I get outta here I'm gonna ask you all to check out the MySpace page. And, when you do I'd like you to sign up as a friend. I'm very new on the damned thing. But, I'm really exploring the whole MySpace thing to see if it's gonna be fun and worth the effort.
Let me know what you think, okay?
Here's the link:

Oh and hey!
If you wanna hear the roughs of my newest song... the song about one of the greatest engines of human conflict ever devised, click on this photo! It's "The Religion Song" and it's brand new.

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.
You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.
Thanks again.
