Okay, I guess the weather this weekend here in New York City made it official...

"Summer has left the building."

Y'know, even I don't know what that's supposed to mean!

But, man! I love putting a guitar on my shoulder and hangin' with you guys on a summer afternoon. I miss it already.

Anyway, okay. So, it's time to move the whole thing indoors. Time to move on to all new things, in my music and in my life. Here we go. New week. TONIGHT, TONIGHT... 7:00 I'm gonna sit in at the SGA Songwriter's Circle down in The Village. It's a fun gig, and for you guys? It's FREE! (More about that in a minute.)

Great new show on "I Love the Company" today... recounting a few experiences I had this past weekend. Couple of tracks for you. Also, I'm giving you those phone numbers again so you can call to say "hey", or leave a comment for me to play on the show this week.

Here... here's today's show.

(It's a 24-minute internet show or podcast.) Just turn on your speakers and click on this logo.

The musical guests on today's show are: Hidden Driveway and Jode Bonney (As always, click on the photos to visit their websites, find out about them, where they're playing or how to get more of their music.)

.

Okay, now... on today's show I'm asking you all to call in about a specific feeling. Give the show a listen. And, then call this number to leave a message or a comment if you have anything to say. Have fun. Call the number and be a part of the whole thing.

It's just us.

Before I get to some other stuff... gotta mention again that WE'RE MOVIN' THE MUSIC INDOORS FOR THE BIG YEARLY EVENT IN JUST ABOUT 5 WEEKS!!!

So, call a few friends and plan on makin' a night of it! It's the annual "Year-End Concert" here in New York City and this year it's on Wednesday Night, December 6th! You can get tickets online right now. TODAY! The box office is open every day this week after 12 noon. Merkin Concert Hall is a great, great sounding concert venue and seats about 500. Now, the gig sells out almost every year, but there are plenty of tickets left and there really is NOT a bad seat in that house!

To get get your seats online click on this link. I'm tellin' you, this gig is so much fun every year. This year, it's gonna be great again. I'm already lookin' forward to hangin' out with you guys. Gonna have some wonderful guests on stage with me. Try not miss it. Seriously, try to get a bunch of friends together and make a night of it!

Okay... TONIGHT. The Red Lion, on Bleecker Street at Thompson. I'll be sharing a stage with George Wurzbach, John Wallowitch and a few other fine writers. I always have a great time at these things. In fact, here's a little bonus video clip from a past circle. It was shot at The Red Lion a while back. I debutted a song there called "Get Out Our House". Now, I might change a few words and simply call it "The Impeachment Song". (Maybe I'll do it tonight.) Anyway, here's the video.

Okay, before I get outta here I'm gonna ask you all to check out the MySpace page. And, when you do I'd like you to sign up as a friend. I'm very new on the damned thing. But, I'm really exploring the whole MySpace thing to see if it's gonna be fun and worth the effort.

Let me know what you think, okay?

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.

You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
