Y'know?
The longest distance I ever had to travel was between my head and my heart. But, now I make the trip quite easily and often so that I spend most of my time listening to my heart instead of my head.
Anyway, that's a pretty long-winded way of saying, I know it's a beautiful day. And, I had a great day yesterday. But, I'm not gonna head out there with all the equipment and everything. I don't wanna push the Parks Department. (I don't have a permit for today.) So, maybe I'll take care of some of thing things I really hafta do today, but then head over to "The Hill" with my guitar and just hang with whoever's there.... completely unplugged, for a little while this afternoon.

Hey! Yesterday was great. If you were out there.... Thanks!
Y'know, I'm all off. I can't get my being around the fact that this is Monday. I'm actually taking the day off on "I Love the Company". I'm leaving the weekend show up for you guys to listen to if you haven't already. I'll be back with an all-new ILTC tomorrow.
But for now, here's the weekend show one mo'time. Go ahead... click on the logo. (You know you want to.)

Or, download it to listen whenever and wherever you want.
This weekend's musical guests on ILTC are: Sam Leopold, Laura Cheadle, Cassandra Kubinski and George Wurzbach. Click on their photos to get to their websites, find out about them and how to get their music.

Yeah, this is George's photo from his website.
Oh hey!!!
My newest song is called "The Religion Song".
I debutted it in the park yesterday and I think it went over pretty well. I mean, judging by the amount of people who approached me after the gig was over and the things they had to say, I think the song really landed. (Of course, those are the same people I'm gonna be sharing a bunkhouse with when I get to Hell. But, that's cool. Just hope they let me bring my guitar.)
As one of the results of that song, the webmaster of this site sent me a YouTube video from The Daily Show, back when Steve Correll and Stephen Colbert used to do a mock-Crossfire show called "Even Stevphen".
This is hysterical and right on point. Click on the link to watch the video.

(And, I'll save these guys, James, and all of you a place in the bunkhouse.)
BTW... for "I Love the Company", Ive been finding a lot of wonderful artists on The Podsafe Network, and more recently I've been cennectiuoin with some fine singersongwriters on MySpace. (Laura Cheadle was discovered on MySpace.)
I mean, have you all gone to check out the MySpace page. And, if you have... have you signed up as friends and contacts? I'm very new on the damned thing and sure I'm probably doing a lot of it wrong. But, I'm really exploring the whole MySpace thing to see if it's gonna be fun and worth the effort.
Let me know, okay?
Here's the link:

Very soon I'm gonna have an announcement about my annual "Year-End Concert" at Merkin Concert Hall. That concert usually sells out, so I'll let you know as soon as the tickets go on sale.
Okay, listen... if you wanna call and be a part of this whole thing... make a comment about the new "The Religion Song", make a request, express an opinion, sing a song, or just say "Hey"... just call this number and leave a message. Maybe we'll put in on the Podcast.

Again, if you're new here... welcome. Hang out at the website a little while. Take a look around. Listen to the Podcast. Remember, you can subscribe by clicking on the iTunes button right over there so you don't miss any of 'em. Y'know, if you're NOT in New York City.... there are really cool shows every day here on "I Love the Company". (Y'know, so many people tell me, "I know nothing about Podcasting. I don't even own an iPod!")
You don't need a damned iPod!
Just turn your speakers on, or plug in your headphones and listen... whenever you want!
If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.

You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.
Thanks again.
