Hey... I got a surprise phone call on "I Love the Company" today! Well, maybe not a surprise. I talk to the guy, like every day. But, he called just as I was doing the show and you will all get to meet his wife today.
Before we get into that... gotta say, YEAH! Looks like we have a really good shot at a beautiful weekend here in New York City comin' up. So, I'll be at "The Hill" in Central Park doin' what I do. And, I think I'm gonna have at least two or three very special guests sittin' in.

Okay... today's ILTC.
It's a reallly, really fun show to close out the week. It's what I really enjoy about podcasting. Just makin' it up as I go along and smiling more than I don't.
Here... click on this logo and listen to today's show.

And, then call this number to be a part of this whole marvelous mess. Let me know what's on your mind, in your heart, and what you think about the show. Maybe I'll play your comments next week.

Be heard.
Today's musical guests are: Roger "Dodger" Bartlett, Veronica Mittenzwei and Jenny Beck. (As always, click on their photos to visit their websites, find out about them, where they're playing and how to get more of their music.)
.
.
Now... we always have a lot of fun around here!
And, today there's a really fun show on ILTC!
And, tomorrow we're gonna have a great time hangin' out together in the backyard of the greatest city on the planet.
But... I KNOW THE PATHETIC TALKING HEADS LIKE WOLF BLITZER, "THE TWINKIE" TUCKER CARLSON, AND THE REST OF THE HAIR-SPRAY-&-SPOKES/MODEL-SET ON THE TV NEWS CHANNELS ARE ALL BUT IGNORING THIS IMMORAL AND UNAMERICAN WAR IN IRAQ, WHERE THOUSANDS OF IRAQIS ARE DYING IN THE STREETS EACH MONTH AND THOUSANDS OF AMERICANS HAVE ALREADY LOST THEIR LIVES.
But, bullshit election season or not, at my website we pay attention. And so...
...it's time to update:
GEORGE W. BUSH'S TRAGIC NUMBER
This just isn't funny. It's outrageously tragic. 68 more Americans have lost their lives in Iraq so far this month. But, that's only one horrible number.
Here at The Guitar Man website, I'm posting George W. Bush's "Tragic Number". That's the number of American fatalities in wholly unAmerican and immoral Iraq War until George W. Bush is directly responsible for the equal number of people killed by Osama Bin Laden in the World Trade Center.
If YOU voted for him and continue to support his war, I hope you will wake up soon. At the time I posted this, the number stands at 39. (Of course, more Americans and Iraqis have probably died while you're reading this.)

Harsh?
You betcha!
Live with it. Or, wake up! It's not too late. (Well, it's too late for those who are dead or dying. But, it's not too late for you. As John Lennon said, "I hope someday you will join us.")
Moving on...
Um... oh yeah! Before I get outta here. Y'know, I love the company here on the internet.... but, I really love the company every December! Right now, you might wanna make sure you get the best seats available for the annual, traditional, we-always-have-a-blast, YEAR-END CONCERT at Merkin Concert Hall on December 6th. (Tickets went on sale last week!)

Even though the show sold out last year, a lot of people told me that they couldn't attend because it was so damned close to the holidays. So, this year the show is earlier... on Wednesday, December 6th. (I'll be sending out that email about it this week. So, if you wanna be among the first to get the best seats, go ahead and follow this link. You can get tickets every day this week!)
If it's easier, you can just call the box office number right now:

You also might wanna take a minute to look around this website and the past few updates by hitting the "Archive" button over there. A couple of great shows this week on "I Love the Company", particularly "The Wednesday Wake-Up Call". And in yesterday's update, there's a really fun video I dug up for you guys to check out. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.
Thanks again.
