Yeah... lookin' like a rainout here in New York City.

We'll keep an eye on the sky for tomorrow. In the meantime...
EVERYONE, QUICK! TO THE PODCAST!!!
Give you somethin' to do on a rainy day. If you're reading this in another part of the country or another part of the world... um... just pretend it's raining, or download it and take it with you when you go outside to play.
Just click on this logo.

Y'know what?
If you've got a little time this weekend, this was really interesting week for me in podcast-land.
Check out a few past episodes from this week... starting with this week's "Wednesday Wake-Up Call". (#114) Then check out #115 as well.
If you wanna hear what some of the fuss was about, go check out Adam Curry's show, "The Daily Source Code. Strange days indeed.
Anyway... another thing you might wanna do on a rainy day in New York City. You might wanna make sure you get the best seats available for the annual, traditional, we-always-have-a-blast, YEAR-END CONCERT at Merkin Concert Hall on December 6th. (Tickets went on sale last week!)
Even though the show sold out last year, a lot of people told me that they couldn't attend because it was so damned close to the holidays. So, this year the show is earlier... on Wednesday, December 6th. (I'll be sending out an email about it at the end of the week. So, if you wanna be among the first to get the best seats, go ahead and follow this link. You can get tickets right now and every day this week!)
If it's easier, you can just call the box office number right now:
212-501-3330
Cool?
If you're reading this in a different part of the country or a different part of the world, you might wanna think about planning your next trip to The Big Apple around the first week of December. Then you can catch the concert!
BTW - on this weekend's ILTC, some fine, fine singer/songwriters... two of whom happen to be friends of mine. Got another work-in-progress on the show today. Y'know, one of those songs that's still trying to find it's voice. One of those songs I haven't put on a CD yet. ("I Was You") If you feel like calling the show's phone line to leave a mesage, a comment or make a request, that's cool. but, you also might wanna take a guess as to who's image inspired the first verse of this new song. Here's the number:
646-224-8162
Here are the guests on the weekend show: Laura Clapp, Roger Bartlett and Sam Leopold. (As always, click on their photos to visit their websites, find out about them, where they're playing and how to get more of their music.)

Also, you can still download the scratch recording of one of my newest songs ("The Religion Song") for free, by clicking on a photo near the end of today's update.

Okay... sadly, once again it's time to update:
GEORGE W. BUSH'S TRAGIC NUMBER
Here at The Guitar Man website, I'm posting George W. Bush's "Tragic Number". That's the number of American fatalities in wholly unAmerican and immoral Iraq War until George W. Bush is directly responsible for the equal number of people killed by Osama Bin Laden in the World Trade Center.
If YOU voted for him and continue to support his war, I hope you will wake up soon. At the time I posted this, the number stands at 49. (Of course, more Americans and Iraqis have probably died while you're reading this.)

Harsh?
You betcha!
Live with it. Or, wake up! It's not too late. (Well, it's too late for those who are dead or dying. But, it's not too late for you. As John Lennon said, "I hope someday you will join us.")
Okay, before I get outta here I'm gonna ask you all to check out the MySpace page. And, when you do I'd like you to sign up as a friend. I'm very new on the damned thing. But, I'm really exploring the whole MySpace thing to see if it's gonna be fun and worth the effort.
Let me know what you think, okay?
Here's the link:

If you wanna download a scratch recording of my newest song... the song about one of the greatest engines of human conflict ever devised, click on this photo! It's "The Religion Song" and it's brand new.

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.
You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.
Thanks again.
