Oh man! Sorry for the late update. The internet provider here in New York City was possessed by the music-hating gnomes this morning. Wacky shit was happening with my computer and cable modem.
What can I tell you!?

Days that can't make up their minds, weather-wise, drive me nuts. Yesterday, it rained here in town around noon. Then... not a drop fell untill late last night. Today, I'm watching the satellite imagery and all I can see is some really heavy rain and thunderstorms moving across western New Jersey. I think if I head out to the park this afternoon, the shit weather might arrive at exactly the same time I do. So, I think I'm gonna stay indoors and work on a new song.
So, once again... EVERYONE, QUICK! TO THE PODCAST!!!
This has been a reeeallllly interesting week around here.
Just click on this logo. (By the way... you don't need an ipod. Just cick on the loogo and turn on your speakers.)

Y'know what?
If you've got a little time today, like I said, this was really interesting week for me in podcast-land.
Check out a few past episodes from this week... starting with this week's "Wednesday Wake-Up Call". (#114) Then check out #115 as well.
If you wanna hear what some of the fuss was about, go check out Adam Curry's show, "The Daily Source Code. Strange days indeed.
Anyway... here's someting you might wanna do first thing tomorrow. First, I will be back with an ALL NEW installment of ILTC. And, you might wanna make sure you get the best seats available for the annual, traditional, we-always-have-a-blast, YEAR-END CONCERT at Merkin Concert Hall on December 6th. (Tickets went on sale last week!)
Even though the show sold out last year, a lot of people told me that they couldn't attend because it was so damned close to the holidays. So, this year the show is earlier... on Wednesday, December 6th. (I'll be sending out an email about it this week. So, if you wanna be among the first to get the best seats, go ahead and follow this link. You can get tickets every day this week!)
If it's easier, you can just call the box office number:
212-501-3330
(I think they're all closed up this weekend for a Jewish holiday. But, they'll be open all week after 12 noon.)
Cool?
If you're reading this in a different part of the country or a different part of the world, you might wanna think about planning your next trip to The Big Apple around the first week of December. Then you can catch the concert!
BTW - on this weekend's ILTC, some fine, fine singer/songwriters... two of whom happen to be friends of mine. Got another work-in-progress on the show today. Y'know, one of those songs that's still trying to find it's voice. One of those songs I haven't put on a CD yet. ("I Was You") If you feel like calling the show's phone line to leave a mesage, a comment or make a request, that's cool. but, you also might wanna take a guess as to who's image inspired the first verse of this new song. Here's the number:
646-224-8162
Here are the guests on the weekend show: Laura Clapp, Roger Bartlett and Sam Leopold. (As always, click on their photos to visit their websites, find out about them, where they're playing and how to get more of their music.)

Okay, before I get outta here I'm gonna ask you all to check out the MySpace page. And, when you do I'd like you to sign up as a friend. I'm very new on the damned thing. But, I'm really exploring the whole MySpace thing to see if it's gonna be fun and worth the effort.
Let me know what you think, okay?
Here's the link:

If you wanna download a scratch recording of my newest song... the song about one of the greatest engines of human conflict and divisiveness ever devised, click on this photo! It's "The Religion Song" and it's brand new.

If you've been comin' around for a while, thanks for always showing up... here and in the park. And if you're brand new here, take a look around. There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. And, you can go back and listen through a whole bunch of the previous Podcasts. Actually... you can go back and listen to all of them if you have the time.
You can also email me about anything you want by clicking on that "Contact" button over there. I can't answer all the email I get these days. But I promise I read every single one.
Thanks again.
